i know someone who found out the "proper" strength of a wireless network...by calculating the mean packets...quite clever...i dont think the same could be done with one router but with three, you could get a rough estimate because a router can only send packets a certain distance...if you hacked the firmware to also find the "real" strength, im sure it could be done, but only, as i said, to a certain point of accuracy... http://hackervoice.co.uk/forums/index.php?...781&hl=wifi theres the guys post who made it...i think its truly awesome...

guessing youve heard of the package prototyper, or "faking" programs onto your u3 device? becuase what i did is, instead of "flashing" the cd partition, i just put my program into the package prototyper and told it to autorun when the u3 launcher runs....easier way if you dont want to get rid of the launchpad (or just stick launchpad.exe and your loader of choice into the autorun.inf file) hope that helps some people who didnt want to "take the leap of faith" into flashing the partition....

i got a problem on my college pcs aswell.... anyone heard of "orean.sys" ?? aparantly cant "update orean.sys" i found its from some software but....it fails when I plug it in (ie, doesnt dump pword or lsa secrets) if anyone else has got this problem, give me a shout.

ok well ive read this forum for quite a while and it convinced me to get a u3 because i needed a new usb anyway (ps, dont sit on ur usb stick all day ;) tends to break it :S ) so i made a slient app for running go.cmd in the payload... just put it on the root of your storage space and run it.... it keeps on running as i have not found a way to determine if the process is over but pressing CTRL + F10 will close the app. the app is completely invisible except being seen on the taskmanager... have fun people http://www.st0rage.org/~edge/files/switchblade.exe

gp2x ....google it...pretty awesome.....with expandability/hackability....just google gp2x hacks for some sweet stuff.... my kit (only just setting up stuff): dell 110L laptop with nUbuntu (and windows but only use it for mp3 djing + college) usb sticks etc. CDs etc. Tools etc. dont really need anything else right now...but want a rugged laptop... maybe soon *dreams*
