hi im fairly new to linux and want to run a complete server off of ubuntu 10.04 desktop as it is also my desktop computer how do i do this as i have tried to install bind9 by "sudo apt-get install bind9" and it isnt working right plz help

well i want to have my host machine running xp pro and have only one nic used but i want virtual machines to all have atleast one physical conn (for ease of redoing network) and i want my server 2003 to be setup as a dhcp server for my physical computers and mysql is already set up but my forums is not working right forums.modbotix.com to see the problem then maybe you could help better
