  1. send out some deauth probes and watch the clients fly in ;)
  2. I tend to pass all my old faulty drives to my data recovery guys, who use the drives parts for their own uses. In turn i get a discount on any work I need done ;)
  3. run lsusb and ensure that your usb is actually being picked up. how are you powering it? if your running it from USB from your laptop, try running it from the mains - there have been issues with power consumption.
  4. I retract the above... I have a feeling its ICS - just checked again, cant ping out from pineapple but i can access the net on devices attached to it. Thought it might be a DNS issue so pinged the IP address of my dedicated server in another country and still nothing. Also re-flashed and the same occured. Not sure where to go from here. Anyone?
  5. I dont think its an issue with ICS as I can confirm that this error occurs with it enabled. The pineapple can ping out and I can ping the pineapple. I have full network connectivity - Could it be an issue with space? I believe this only started when the swap space was amended and the USB put in place
  6. i plugged mine into my battery pack and its picking up the usb flawlessly. one question guys, the opkg.conf file - i have removed all the lines and left what Darren has written in the original post. when running opkg update it finishes super quick. i dont think its updating. can you guys confirm what should be in this file? thanks EDIT ok so I put the following line back in to my opkg.conf file src/gz snapshots http://downloads.openwrt.org/snapshots/trunk/ar71xx/packages when running update i get the following error Failed to download http://downloads.openwrt.org/snapshots/trunk/ar71xx/packages/Packages.gz, wget returned 1. opkg.conf is as follows: src/gz snapshots http://downloads.openwrt.org/snapshots/trunk/ar71xx/packages dest root / dest ram /tmp lists_dir ext /var/opkg-lists option overlay_root /overlay dest usb /usb
  7. You know what would be great, changing tx from a drop down list! Havent tried mine yet but if this is the case, then :(
  8. either ssh in or go to the advanced page and do a lsusb and check if its actually registering. If not plug it in to your computer and just make sure its formatted correctly and isnt dead.
  9. I had the same issue with my 16gb sandisk fit - havent tried mains power yet because i need to find a US to UK converter. But its strange that your having the same issues with the 4gb. Have you tried taking it out, powering up then putting in? mine sometimes works when i do that, but it isnt persistent.
  10. tut would be nice! so that other sites could be made also ;)
  11. i have set this up and my experiences have been a little hit and miss. when rebooting the pineapple, the USB doesnt always automatically find itself. the light on my usb wont always boot up and the usb led on the pineapple itself remains off. i try to unplug and replug and sometimes it will work but most times it wont. not sure where im going wrong here. its a good USB, its been formatted as mentioned above and the USB code has been amended and mkswap issued. :( I'm not really going to be using 3g and will always have this USB plugged in but it doesnt appear to want to play ball!
  12. cheers d3cryption - bought some ap51's from them before and got caught out on customs charges! although if my search within the uk remains fruitless then i think ill go ahead and just buy from them again. thanks again
  13. Haven't heard much about hamster and ferret, might do some reading tonight. Messing around with sslstrip ATM, trying to get to a stage where I can get it to work on the pineapple as well as my bt5 laptop! Cheers digip
  14. Thanks boys, really appreciate your help! I will defo check out the IRC. If on the off chance it cant be done, can you guys suggest a cloning tool that can download "the main stuff". A script can be written in the backend to capture the credentials and so on. Just so that your aware... this is not for malicious purposes but purely for educating myself aswell as others in the possibilities of such actions. Cheers!
  15. Afternoon all, Quick question for you guys - I have tried to spawn multiple SET instances on a single box and I dont believe it appears to be working. Is this actually possible? I am spoofing sites successfully and it binds it to port 80 but say I wanted to spoof site b and site c at at the same time and wanted to bind it to port 81 and 82 (port numbers irrelevant) - can this be done? If so how? Or if not, can SET be used to download the spoof site so that it can be hosted manually and then the wifi pineapple can just point to the machine hosting the sites and virtualhosts be put in place to redirect depending on URL? (didnt post in the jasager forums as this isnt really a jasager issue) Am i making sense? Thanks
  16. Anyone know where I might be able to pick one up (from uk)?
  17. Cheers lads, I will be reading up on hashcat when I get in from work. I hae a few machines lying around which I can stick some cards in and start playing with. I'm assuming the cards will be doing all the work so I'm assuming CPU and ram requirements won't too high, right?
  18. I really want to play with gpu clusters and brute forcing! I keep hearing good things. Anyone want to share there hardware and software setups? :D
  19. Use BackupAssist and RSync your data over to your centos box

  21. Mine will be dispatched on Monday apparently!
