sorry im such a noob :) it actually does work, it spoofs the ssid name, I though you could see it would connect to the pineapple called "internet" but it fakes the ssid :) I want to setup dns spoofing, will i need internet sharing/access for that? as default it says: 172.16.42.1 example.com but nothing happens when i go to example.com, I guess it's because I haven't setup internet on the pineapple, so it can't find any dns server?

Hi. I am new to all this, I might be doing something wrong, but is this not how the wifi pineapple should work?: I turned on karma: Now I have setup an access point called AndroidAP, So I Connect to AndroidAP, and check the box "Connect Automaticlly" Now I shutdown my computer, and I also shutdown my access point "AndroidAP" Now I guess what should happens: The router is looking for AndroidAP, but can't find it, instead "internet" the wifi pineapple, should say, I can get you ON! AM i totally wrong or? instead when I restart my computer, it just shows all connections, and does not connect to "internet" the wifi pineapple.

Hi Darren :) thanks you you reply. I used WinSCP to replace the config file from http://www.wifipineapple.com/pineapple-mk3-v1.0.2.tar.gz with the config file on the router. And now karma can be enabled. Is that the right thing to do, or should I replace all the files inside pineapple-mk3-v1.0.2.tar.gz with all the files on the router?

I have quite a big problem. I can't turn on karma, it won't activate. update 1.0.2 : http://forums.hak5.org/index.php?showtopic=23103 SHOULD solve the problem But after updating to 1.0.2 I am not able to turn on karma. However the update also gave me those errors with red text: SO I AM NOT SURE IT IS UPDATED; IT SHOULD NOT GIVE ANY ERRORS :S

Hi Darren. I sended you a message, but haven't got a reply yet :) I got a big problem. After upgrading to the latest firmware you posted (1.0.2) I think it was, I can now no longer enable Karma, it won't start :S What can I do to solve this :S?

but isn't the whole idea, that clients should be automatic connected when the pineapple is around? I will try search around :) I don't got a big understanding for how it works, not yet Im using windows 7 I have no saved networks, the ones that shows up, are all secured.

Hi. I just got my pineapple 3 today. I connected it via cable to my computer, and got into it's interface. Then I started airmon-ng, and now I take of the cable between the computer and the router, and restart the computer. The problem is, the computer does not automaticly connect to the pineapple wireless network as it should do, what am I doing wrong? sorry but im very new to this :).
