Well I was thinking of getting a tower machines. With a desktop mobo/CPU etc but what people have told me is server equipment last longer. Can survive the heat and being turned on 24/7. Also Another reason im getting dual quad core is so I can host more reasonable amount servers in one machine so I don't have to pay money on more TCadmin licenses if I have 2 machines. Aswell as the co-location etc. And Most games I'm going to host mainly HL2 Games. E.G CS:S Gmod TF2 KF Etc.

Currently im hosting in Kansas. Im thinking of a Dual Quad Core 2.5 and 8 GB ram, or 2 2.8 Quad Core servers with 4 gb each. Where is the DC located? And how much does it cost? Also im considering around 8 game servers in one machine.

Also, Im thinking of opening a GSP business. I have experience with hosting etc, only issue I actually face is the hardware. Will 2 single Quad Core machines run better than a machine with Dual Quad core? Im thinking of purchasing a single quad, and when I need more space just buy another single quad. Or should I invest in a dual quad core? Thanks. P.S They will be Xeon.

I've sorta figured out some components. I'm not sure but should I buy a motherboard with 1 socket for 2.66GHZ Xeon Quad? Or buy 2 sockets so i can purchase 2 2.13 GHZ Quadies?
