    Try going to bootland.net they have a section under grub4dos ISO booting and I believe they will show the commands to boot linux mint. I would give you the link but bootland is not coming up for me at this time.

    You should search bootland .net there is a ton of info on usb booting. and a tool to automate the process of booting xp and win 7 from usb.
