I ran according to what you told me with internet connectivity and opkg update and when I get to block info | grep "/dev/sd" Nothing is printed out, and when I run just block info This is the output Does this mean it's still not identifying the USB storage device? -
Packet Squirrel won't connect to the network
beginner123 replied to beginner123's topic in Packet Squirrel
The Squirrel still isn't recognizing the USB even with the latest firmware.. -
Ok, thank you I figured out how to connect it the C2, had to connect to the LAN through the other ethernet port on the Squirrel
-
According to the Squirrel it is already connected to C2, but the in the C2 server it shows up as online and last seen never
-
When I do this it still doesn't work. I got a new device.config and transferred it into the /etc directory on the squirrel, and still nothing. Also if I try to ping the IP address of the machine that the server is running on from the Squirrel it doesn't work
-
Thats the way I was starting it... How do I do it if I want to run it on my local server and connect my Packet Squirrel to it?
-
The C2 is located on my local server (local host 127.0.0.1) and when I ping it from the Squirrel it receives all the packets

Packet Squirrel won't connect to the network
beginner123 replied to beginner123's topic in Packet Squirrel
The computer isn't recognizing the squirrel as an ethernet adapter and so nothing is getting routed through it. in terms of LED it starts blinking green then solid green then blinking blue for about two seconds and then finally slow blinking red (which from what I understood is FAIL) -
Whenever I try to connect my packet squirrel to the network to run the TCPDump payload, it never makes the connection and fails. In the "Available Networks" on my computer I see it trying to connect, it says "Identifying Network No Internet" then disappears without ever actually connecting. I plugged the ethernet cable on the power side to my computer and the ethernet on the USB side to the network switch. Maybe I am doing something wrong, I'm not sure If anyone can help that would be great

Thanks for all the help
