  1. Bump. Still need some help, after seeing the latest episodes I really wanna do something fun with my Fon.
  2. Well the overall quality seems to be better, but what's my problem is, that the signal drops from perfect to very bad in seconds. And it doesn't matter how far/near I am to it. Also the overall quality is very bad compared to my Linksys WRT160N with no external antennas at all. I can't even connect to it 2 rooms away. Any help would be appreciated.
  3. I have the exact same problem, the txpower is even set to 18dB (this was the default setting). I even added a huge 9dB antenna to it. But the signal is very bad, hope someone can help me out with it.
  4. I'd also like the packages for 10.03, that would be sweet. When trying to install the patched drivers it says that they are up to date (kmod-madwifi) and it won't install the jasager.ipk Don't wanna go back to the old version, since there are lots of new features and packages on the new OpenWRT.
  5. Ok, I'll try that so far. Another question, can I just reset everything and put the Jasager back on, with the tutorial?
  6. Well I tried the normal power level, which is even worse. But if this is the standard setting, I might go with that. How can I avoid the clients reconnecting to the AP?
  7. It snags them, but only when I'm right next to it. But if I deauth the clients they don't connect to the Jasager.
  8. Anyone with any clues, to what I can do about those problems? Help would be appreciated! :)
  9. Yes, and I can connect manually. But as I said the power level is pretty low.
  10. Karma is enabled, which log do you mean the log inside Jasager? (Nothing there) Also I don't really think those are hardware problems.
  11. Hi there, I have my Fonera up and running for a while now, but I got three different problems that bug me a lot. First of, the Fonera is connected to my local router via LAN cable and when I ping it either from the router or another PC on the LAN the latency is pretty bad... about 250ms. Second the Wireless signal power is pretty low, even though I maxed out the dB, it hardly goes from one room to another. And the third problem is that even with Jasager running, the WLAN left unencrypted. When I then deauth my Eee 1000H or iPhone they both don't connect to the Fon. Even when they are pretty near to it. Hope you guys can help me with those problems. If you need any more informations... go on! Thanks!
