  1. I agree with most everyone here, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 is the way to go. However that's only on my desktop, as far as my laptop is concerned I run 9.10 Ubuntu, and a virtual machine of both backtrack and windows 7..both of which are used for my wide variety of tools. Diabolical.
  2. Burning Aces, I'm just curious but what's not to understand about the Xhydra Gui? I'm sure with hydra (cmd line) you can do far more than what the GUI will allow (I don't know as I haven't used it yet)..but seriously Xhydra labels everything in black and white. If a person is so uneducated (and don't bother trying to learn something) that they don't know what method to run the tool and why..then they really shouldn't be using either hydra or xhydra now should they? My point is those of us that understand what's going on it's really no different for me whether I use the cmd line or gui..I know what's going on within the program and why ;) Diabolical

    Windows 7

Is the USB-Hacksaw able to work in windows 7? I just finished watching the video on it (yes I know i'm kind of late in that respect), I also did a quick check on google and really didn't find any definite answers to that question. So if anyone can verify that it does work on windows 7 please let me know. Diabolical
  4. Xhydra is a very good choice. Also if you want to learn bruteforcing, the best way I found was to use De-Ice Pentesting Disc 1.100
