    Unique Ssid

    Hi guys, Its me again. I am reading this book called Hacking Exposed:Wireless. In this particular chapter regarding Unique SSID. Here is an excerpt for it "When using WPA-PSK, your SSID is input into a cryptographic function when creating the pairwise master key (PMK)" My question is, does this extends to WPA2/WPA2-PSK as well?

  3. Hi guys, I was analyzing some war-driving results when I stumbled upon this. I used Vistumbler and it categorized WEP, WPA and WPA2 differently. Like for example... Authentication: WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK Encryption: WEP, TKIP, AES It seemed like I may have some misconception but doesnt WPA and WPA2 does the job of both authenticating and encryption?

  7. Hi guys, Greetings from Singapore! Finally decided to sign up for an account here... I have been watching Hak.5 for like a long time and I absolutely love it!
