I want the hand on the table, hovering your hand over a table would tire you out rather quickly. and my hand is indeed leaning to the side as in this first iteration I placed the laser assembly too far to the left. and of course i made the mistake of permanently attaching it there before testing lol. Currently working on a much improved version. and thx for checking it out!

considering a capacitive sensor of some sort, still kinda feeling that out tho. I still can't believe the amount of feedback i've been getting all over the net.

Noted. Thx for the feedback. I've already got the new version in the works and planning mappable buttons, scroll wheel, migrating the laser assembly, moving most of the weight to the wrist to improve reaction time, etc. I have a lot of ideas for developing this into a gaming device and possibly an office productivity tool. Stay Tuned!

This is just a proof-of-concept currently and has a lot of work ahead but, I'm pretty happy with the initial results. I am looking for a group of like-minded individuals in the DFW and surrounding area who would be interested in helping create a HackerSpace in Denton, TX. I would like to create a local non-profit organization that would provide space, equipment, tools, computers, internet access, etc to anyone interested in researching, designing and building whatever they choose. I envision this as a place open to ANYONE in the community with an idea and the know-how but who lacks the tools to complete it.
