Okay,
I don't know how it happened, but when I started up Portal 2 and when into Steam Community In-Game, it worked for some reason?

Ok goto the game in steam
right click > properties > verify integrity of game cache
once you have done that exit steam and delete the clientregistry.blob from the root of steam.
let me know how you get on.
for the record the game is good the ending is amazing its worth the effort.
Doesn't work.
Says that it needs 1 valid file or something.

I was so excited to get my copy of Portal 2 off steam, only to realise that It crashed on the loading screen.

Yes, I did buy the legit copy.
Here's what I've tried:
Moving every folder of Portal 2 and Steam.exe to my C:// drive (I had it on an external drive before)
Running as admin
Playing with firewall and antivirus turned off
almost everything!
Please help me!

Hi!
My headset isn't working! :(
It is a logitech one (I'm not sure of the model) and it doesn't go through the USB port, it goes through the microphone and headphone ports.
When i took it out and put it back in, it wasn't working, so I kept unplugging it and plugging it back in, and it wouldn't make a difference. Then I restarted my computer, no difference at all.
You see, it was in and it said that it was working properly and stuff, but when i played music no sound was coming out. It wasn't muted, it was at 100%, and then I realised that it was in the wrong way round.
So I switched them round, and now it's in the right ports, but it says that nothing's plugged in D:
So I need your help. How can I fix this?
I use Windows 7 Ultimate Edition, and I have a new PC. And as I said, Logitech headset.

wow, really? CoD 2's engine? I thought it used the IW4 engineMight i just add, regarding the topic posters comments, on how Call Of Duty MW2 has the greatest graphics by far out... CODMW2 uses the same engine as COD2, and the same graphics effects are all still present, just used in different ways. Texture sizes are probably a little larger, but apart from that, mostly the same Shader model 3.0 engine. -
I love to play call of duty game . In Call of Duty It would also be cool to see new perks and maybe attachable sides like toob and extended mag. It would also be funny to see a riot shield, and claymores. And also bring back some weapons like the ray gun and wonderwaff.

Well its a big rumour that the treyarch call of duty will be in vietnam or cold warfare like the guy above me said but i think it will be cold warfare because it could be made up with any side against any other as opposed to vietnam is us vs vietnam so i think cold warfare but i could be wrong they could do a future warfare or another game set in modern day
Cold Warfare would be a bit too much, as in Modern Warfare 2's story there are some levels in the snow

Hey guys,
I haven't posted in about a year... I thought it would be about time to post again.
So, as the title states, I got an idea for a Red vs Blue Roleplay server.
Hosted in Garry's Mod, using the Blood Gulch map along with heaps of addons like ODST drop pods, Halo Sweps and weapons, Halo player models, ect.
There will be four factions, including
Red
Blue
Freelancers
Medics.
There will also be branches, at the moment there are only two branches for red and blue, three branches for freelancers and two branches for medics
Red = Soldier and ODST
Blue = Soldier and ODST
Freelancer = Agent, Recovery Agent, Intel/Recon
Medics = Officer, MIT
It will use Tiramisu as the base.
I just want to see what you guys think about it, and if we should make it.
