  1. I have pictures of the device in question tore apart and re-assembled for another user. Search forums and you should be able to find it.
  2. In regards to a tool to open the SAM file, you will need a program that can read Windows registry files.
  3. Another note, if they use Windows Live login. The credentials are not stored in the SAM.
  4. You will also need the SYSTEM registry file. I would recommend hashcat.
  5. I would say so, the database has no info. Check for text logs in the logs directory?
  6. Try this and show me the results: sqlite3 /root/responder/Responder.db at the prompt: .tables then .exit to exit the prompt. What are the tables there?
  7. That would get you the old interface, but also all the older issues/bugs as well. Using the most up-to-date firmware is not just a user interface change, but lots of fixes in the background in regards to functionality.
  8. If your target is Windows10, you can do GUI X, then A, then ALT Y. Also may try adding/increasing the delay from launching the UAC to trying to accept it. Maybe the ALT Y you are sending is being sent too fast before the dialog pops up.
  9. In a situation like that I would like to mention the following: I hope these are legal pen-test payloads or authorized testing You would most likely want to setup a VPS to accept the connections, from there you can connect to your VPS and pivot from there. You may not be able to find a free VPS other than a trial of Amazon AWS, but here is a shameless DigitalOcean referral link. VPS as cheap as $5 a month. I use it for a VPN tunnel for when I feel my traffic needs encrypted from snoopers (conferences/hotels/etc.). https://m.do.co/c/81aedb860ffb <-- helps me, helps you.
  10. It all depends how you "lost" them. You can try installing the ARM version of busybox and dd'ing your user partition to your computer and manually carve that file for your content. Or you might be able to throw it into a free mobile forensic tool. Not that i'm endorsing this company, but they have a free extraction tool: https://www.magnetforensics.com/magnet-acquire/smartphone/ Or if you want the manual instructions: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1fTOVyEl0EGfCtVJEvh6Opu-JaJP5I9h0tr0LH_S0-f0/edit?usp=sharing
  11. What is it not doing? It does require some initial setup to set passwords. https://www.wifipineapple.com/pages/setup#tetra
  12. Well you will need to setup either ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) or configure the NANO to connect to an Internet enabled access point in order for it to get modules.
  13. What steps did you follow to setup your Nano? How are things connected? USB of the nano to Kali laptop?
  14. You have copy/pasted the same FALSE statements. If you continue to do so you will receive a PM from me. Read the reply to the same comment on another thread:
  15. I would say run it off a different power source and see if the Nano heats up the same. I wonder if it's the battery causing all the heat.
  16. I think I have a factory image around somewhere for MK4. Let me know if it's still needed and I'll take a look.
  17. I'm not sure they are authorized to re-sell (or if anyone is for that matter). So if you buy second hand, I wouldn't expect any sort of warranty.

  19. It's easy to complain. Fact is, it's a small team doing their damn'd best to give the lowest cost product they possibly can. And to keep everything else going that is happening with a very limited crew. Not to mention a large portion is community support and having actual basic networking knowledge. Can't expect people to give you a crash course on networking just so you can "hack a friend's facebook" kind of stuff. There are a good number of people behind the scenes that donate time and effort to help keep things going. Just because the update cycle doesn't reflect a monthly patch like say Microsoft or Android, doesn't mean it's not being worked on. And if there is a bug, submit a bug report instead of just saying "HAZ BUGZ". Just make sure to search to not have repeat reports. https://www.wifipineapple.com/bugs . Plus, I'm not sure what you meant by "Update looks like March and others December". The goal isn't to keep changing the UI every update. That's just silly for a number of reasons. Having worked first hand with the crew many times, every one of them puts maximum effort (haha Deadpool) with events, podcast, development, testing, etc. They are not a crew that walks in at 9 and clocks out at 5 and calls it a day. I find it insulting every time keyboard warriors complain as if they are some 500 employee company. The original topic of this thread has gone way off topic and has been addressed. I am going to lock this thread and if anyone has more to say on the topic or discussions, feel free to direct message me.
  20. Try hooking up the UART adapter and see what it reads. I'm not sure but I think it would display if the reset button is pushed. I can't be sure though. But that UART will be able to help troubleshoot what is going on.

  22. There is a typo in that wget you referred to just FYI. wget wifipineapple.com/wp6.sh wget will notify that it's been moved, forward, and download it. The reason you may be experiencing ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) issues when unplugging is that you're using the laptop to give the pineapple Internet through it's micro USB Ethernet. Also, disconnecting and connecting adapters may trigger your operating system's network manager to undo or change what the wp6.sh has configured.
  23. When you say it does or does not work. Do you mean clients cannot connect or internet connection sharing/internet access stops working?
