nvm lol i just reflashed it its working fine now lol now to set up ics

i had it on automatically obtain an ip adress and that where im getting an ip of 169.254.94.142 which give me nothing really because im almost 100% sure the fons ip doesnt start with 169. i ran wireshark when it first gets connected and i get a broadcast arp protocol from the fon request of a gratuitous arp for 192.168.1.254 so im assuming thats the fons ip address but i keep getting put on 169 sounds like i need a static ip address set up? and i just now read your post about that ip address so it must be that the fon is a dhcp client and so is my computer so there having issues.... so what would be the best way to fix this? is there a way to gain telnet access to change it through console or set a static ip address but then the problem becomes what ip address... so idk... before when i had it working my windows xp netbook was sharing its wifi connection with the ethernet port giving the fon internet while i connected to it via ethernet any thoughts?

So I had my fon2100 working a few months ago I cant remember the ip address to connect to it but im not even sure if its working now because when i have it connected via ethernet cable and then ip config i get an ip of 169.254.204.53 and a blank default gateway so im not sure if its shot or somethings wrong with it did a ip scan couldnt get anything to come up, if im forgeting something id be greatfull for help if its bricked (which idk why it would be it worked fine last time i used it but i havent used it in awhile) can it be unbricked through the camera cable?

if this helps any i have an nmap of it and for whatever reason none of those addresses are working

Ok so this is my own fault but i dont remember the IP address to connect to the fon I remember my password (i think but thats not the issue) i have ICS set up on my laptop and it works great the fon is providing internet to anyone who connects but I dont remember how to connect to the webif interface i think its a wierd IP address below is what i get when i ipconfig /all on a connected client Iv'e tried 10.42.43.1 but that doesn't connect me to anything i get a timed out response or problem loading page. any thoughts on what it could be tried the obvious ones like 192.168.1.1 192.168.0.1 192.168.2.1 really just guessing

Ok so I have the church of wifi 33gig WPA rainbow table I was wondering if anyone could help point me in the direction or tell me how I would use this with cowpatty or w/e program would be used. I have a personal router that I play around with and I can crack WEP in less than 5 minutes but with the rainbow table I'd like to try and start with WPA so any help would be great thanks

ok good news got internet to it i think my ics was messed up somehow so i reloaded my laptop didnt feel like dealing with it anymore so sharing works just as soon as i start karma it screws up my wireless im blacklisting my ap so who knows lol

Ok so I followed tutorial (http://wiki.hak5.org/wiki/Internet_Connection_Sharing_mit_Der_Jasager) on how to share internet from laptop to fon. I had to modify it a little because i dont have a second wifi card currently so im using my ethernet card to connect to the fon. Ive shared internet before i normally use my laptop for my 360 with a cross over cable. when i finished the tutorial i wasnt getting internet on any of the computers i tried at first they werent getting IPs but thanks to digininja i got that working but now im not sure whats wrong. the tcp/ip settings on the ethernet card are: IP address: 192.168.0.1 subnet: 255.255.255.0 I put the dns server that i got from my ap's internet my wifi card is shared the fon has the dhcp ip range of 192.168.0.100-200 I tried using a regular ethernet cable and a cross over tried http://hak5.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=12963 tutorial still no luck sorry for all the questions!!!

ok i tried running that script and i couldnt get it to work it kept saying invalid range. i followed the directions i thought but i get target to connect but they dont have internet so somethings wrong they cant get an IP address i'm assuming its because i couldnt get that line of code to work right any ideas on what im doing wrong?

now wouldnt you want the ip range 192.168.0.1-250 cuz he said thats what it needed to be: "***note IMPORTANT: I found that you have to use 192.168.0.1 and not another subnet like 192.168.1.1 for the fon because ICS has it's own built in DHCP that uses 192.168.0.x network (I think there is a way to change this default but I didn't look into it.) (Also don't use TFTPD like Darren uses in the video because it seems it's not needed - if you were able to get it to work with TFTPD, great, but it didn't work for me)"

ok so i just got my la fonera today its the fon 2100 i followed all the steps here: http://wiki.hak5.org/wiki/Fon_Jasager_Install got to step 12 and when i went to connect to the fon through telnet i just get "could not open connection to the host, on port 23: connection failed" am i doing something wrong? i switched to flashing it with the firmware from here: http://www.digininja.org/jasager/download.php and still not able to connect i did ipconfig /all and it says that its on 192.168.0.1 not 192.168.1.1 which the guide tells me to connect to and if i try to telnet to 192.168.0.1 i still get an error. had no issues up till step 12 everything went well now im stuck :-/ any help will be greatly appreciated ive look around on the forums and havnt found the exact problem but ill keep looking to see if this was answered already
