Nah, just share a flat with a bunch of people, not that pricey. As for certs, just google things like A+ and MCITP, then do the courses in your own time. Then get a job doing 1st line stuff to get a CV together.

Rick Rolling is a bit 2006... never really seen why it's so funny either, "haha here's a link to a music video".
I think it's really just teenagers who are all like "OMG, the 80s are like soooooo lame", they'll probably be doing the same with Britney Spears videos in 10 years time, Brit Bowling maybe.
