  1. Actually I got a solution... it involves placing content on your root. I have not tested this yet but it should work. HOW TO: Go watch on YouTube showing how to create a WinXP bootable thumb drive with winsetupfromUSB. This 3rd party software uses grub4dos also so the restructure and .lst contents should be able to transfer right over. After you're done with that copy the contents of your bootable drive over to your multipass root and use this menu.lst entry title Windows XP/2000/2003 Setup- First and Second parts root (hd0,0) configfile /winsetup.lst savedefault You will also need to create a new .lst called winsetup.lst that you can see the entry above is calling. Place it on the root of your drive also. color black/cyan yellow/cyan timeout 10 default /windefault title First part of Windows XP Professional setup root (hd0,0) chainloader (hd0,0)/$WIN_NT$.~BT/SETUPLDR.BIN savedefault 1 title Second part of Windows XP Professional setup root (hd0,0) chainloader (hd0,0)/NTLDR savedefault These menus are obviously customizable like your menu.lst also so enjoy (Where is that wannabe sexy picture of Bill Gates at again for my Windows Menus???:D ) Now that I'm thinking about it you could really organize your menus with sub-menus and graphics if you wanted to. Hmm.... Let me know if you try and it works I wont get to it till later. BTW the timeout is short [10] you may want to extend them, and while rolling through the installation you don't need to babysit it, the menu selection will change itself over from first part to second part automatically. I think there might be a way to turn this into unattended I'm not sure yet, ill look into it later. GLHF
  2. Try reading page... 12 or 13 on the episode thread again. Someone posted their tree and lst maybe it will help.
  3. You might want to pay attention to which version of controller you have. Not all controllers are designed the same way, and the schematics your working from are from a pretty old post @ xbox scene. Good luck on your project. I'm not sure if I back your bot assignment. I think making a gaming bot would be more ethical. I am curious of your method for banning, but ill just ponder. GLHF

    nmap ?

Exactly what needs to be done. The DHCP Clients table will see what IPs are assigned from the router. WPA2 is still breakable so the whitelisted MAC address is way more secure.
  5. It may be the way you setup the installer. Try this.... Download: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showto...120444&st=0 Go into RMPrepUSB and select clean USB drive. Hope that helps!
  6. Tips -Hack your gamerscore for fun. -Hack your avatar with a hex editor making your skin color something strange. -Take your box apart and mod it. -Hack your clothing availability. You will need a data transfer kit to do this all. Suggested games.. -All the old school games available in the market place. -COD games are fun. Watch for modern warfare 2 soon. Other.. -Mod your xbox 360 controller with a momentary switch and turn those single firing guns into full auto. Google the schematics. -Don't firmware flash your drive unless you can stay leet, and its never guaranteed. Instead buy a second console and mod it inCase. Other than that try out the fun stuff. Guitar Hero is fun for awhile. Rock Band has more releases and tracks.
  7. I did notice some of the weak passwords. I don't agree with using weak passwords but I cannot say I am not guilty of doing it. Usually its for sites I really don't worry about security with. I personally grade a site and impliment a strength of password that is adequate with the site. A forum site gets the least amount of security to where my cash sites, or personal data sites get pretty damn strong passwords. JMHO

  9. Has anyone successfully added the XP iso to the root and installed? All I get is a BSOD. I would really like to add this to my pass.
  10. Just wanted to say another big thank you for all the help. I'm actually doing this for a school project and this whole project by Darren and the Hak5 team couldn't have come at a better time. I'm going to be presenting a how-to in class. So thanks again! B) Still working on the Windows XP installer. Ill have to read the threads again. Simply placing it on the root and calling it gave me a BSOD. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have an XP USB to reference, ill post a fix when I get there.
  11. So I can use that on my multipass? That's what I was trying to get at. I want to include windows XP on my multipass. Does it require some partition work so it has its own separate partition on the disk? Question 2) Does anyone know where to find just the repair part of Windows XP and Windows Vista on the disk or somewhere else? I remember seeing them just cannot remember where.
  12. Excellent thank you! :) Now I can work on my multipass with a reference. ALSO thanks to all the members working on the project and all the great contributions. I have less barriers to break through now. Darren where is part II? Is it coming after vacation? Suggestion for II: Cover Window installs. I would really like to see how to take my legally purchased XP CD and use the ISO I created to install, so I do not have to carry a separate thumb drive. This was discussed and perhaps covered in this forum but a video tutorial with clarification would be awesome. Also thanks man for all the entertainment. I have been watching Kevin since screensavers, and then followed him to revision3 to find this show. Which is awesome. Hope your enjoying your vaca, god knows I need one.
  13. Would anyone be willing to post their tree and lst of a working multipass for something to reference? I have been working on this trying to grasp the concept all day.
