every development app is written for *nix first, then ported to windows, you should know that :-/ edit: yep, i'm 100% linux. might switch to Gentoo/FreeBSD project soon, but meh. still forced to use windows on school though :(

so the passwords and stuff should not be spreaded out like crazy: we'd have to use like, some sort of pass request via irc system. about the child porn: not everyone puts that kinda stuff on his apache server :p

lol, the whole idea of VPN is like, useless. but it makes stuff like setting up services for eachother easier and safer.

Hey guys, I was like, thinking lately. We hacker's do come together. But... do we really? We actually mainly chat and post together. Is that all? To improve the "family" feeling and get better connections to eachother (network wise), I think we'll need a huge hak.5 VPN. For those who don't know what a VPN is: see it as a LAN network, but there's no cables. It's all via the internet. What do we need? -Someone who will host the router (i guess a TUN system is the easiest). -People on the VPN. -Some notices about this VPN by Darren or Wess in the show. So what do you think? Good idea? Bad idea? Why? What is the problem? Please post!

REALLY bad argument. there are thousands (millions) of latin words used wrong. Examle: the latin word "incendere" means "to set in fire". The french use the word "incendie", which means "fire". Well, sounds logic. But it should mean "pyromaniac", as "incensus" would mean "the ignited" (thus referring to a burning object) "bonus" just means "good". "extra" means "outside". do I need to continue?
