  1. was trying to run PJ 8.1 with XP, current Java, flash 7 and/or 8, greasemonkey, Firefox v.09, and constantly got "socket write error" and "unable to write...make sure running firefox" messages. read thru forum posts and tried numerous fixes to no avail. problem was first song wouldn't download on manual or automatic...but if grabbed in the last 5 or 15 secs of song, would grab the correct song. if left on auto or grab manual at any other time, would grab previous song. was not running last fm, and no cddb lookup. installed PJ standalone and WORKS PERFECTLY. GREAT WORK!
  2. never mind - works perfectly! just couldn't find the new save folder. yeah, i'm an idiot. i'll remove post if can.
  3. been following this forum since it started, and have had success & failure with program - mostly success! have to say PJ is a great program, great work to everyone involved. my problem lately seems to be - running XP, firefox .09, greasemonkey, flash 8, and PJ 8.1.1 - but still getting unable to rip messages, etc. once it seemed to load fine, but nothing saved...agggh! i followed the latest download links and still no luck. any chance someone has a step by step that's error free? THANKS!
  4. hey pichet - thanks for the link. couldn't get much off softnetwork site other than ad's, but went back to the directory site and now the .mar file is an .exe file...go figure. switched back to .9 firefox today and app works fantastic. i've been following this link since the inception, and this release is by far the simplest to set up and get going. congrats to everyone for all the hard work. any chance anyone has looked into timeshifting netflix instant movies?
  5. pichet - thanks for posting this link. i downloaded the .mar file but have no idea how to run file and get back to .9 firefox. any help would be great. thanks.
  6. running 7.3, with flash 8; have tried reinstalling several times...still run into same problem, which has only started happening recently. run bat file, app loads. grab files sits in "fetching" mode until song is over and next song begins. sometimes "not running firefox" error appears, sometimes not. while second song is playing, either grabs first song listing first song as grab, or grabs first song listing second song as grab. in either case, song is only couple hundred kb, about 1 min. even after running thru several songs, not always running properly. anyone else get this? any suggestions?
  7. great program, excellent work, until...oops. i mistakenly upgraded to flash player 9, and realized too late this is a no-no. i read back thru the thread, uninstalled 9, reinstalled 8, reinstalled pandora's jar, etc. tried everyting i could think of, but when mozilla opens, no player opens. any suggestions? any chance program will be written for palyer 9?
