  1. The test page does work... so the service is working..
  2. When I run the .sh's when SSH'd into the router, they pass HTML out... but they still don't show in a browser.
  3. Newest Jasager firmware works great, no problems with flashing at all, config all works... wonderful job! I have a question though, involving the install of webif. I have tried multiple times to install haserl and webif packages (the newest of both) and when I finally get them installed using opkg, all I get is a blank screen at the web interface on port 80. All the .sh files appear to be blank(ie the config screens for webif for DHCP, routing, etc). Anyone have this issue? Any ideas? I have tried reinstalling it multiple times.
  4. Okay, so if anyone saw my other posts about blowing up my Fon+ with reverse polarity... I ordered a new one. The one I blew up was working perfect til I blew it up.. Jasager and all with no problems. This new one, I flashed once and had it semi-working (webif would not complete it's install.. ever). Then I decided to just flash with the newer Piranha firmware and I also tested out the Jasager firmware. Well. Now... I can't do anything. It appears to flash successfully(using Freifunk) and then reboots, and the computer never gets an IP from it.. and configuring it to a static IP in the 192.168.1.x range also does not work. 168.254.255.x does not work. I do not have a serial cable but am working on borrowing one... I just don't understand how it could flash these various firmwares then the device never spits out an IP or can't be communicated with... I did some searching but did not find an answer from various forums.
  5. Wrong polarity on the battery pack... quick job... smell of burnt electronics...
  6. I got it working! Then I fried it. Literally. All that work... oh well.. *orders next one*
  7. Everyone says to use Linux for the MITM attack. I use both, I just figured that canned response would appear as I've seen it in other threads... Yes they are on the same subnet. And I am using the LAN port not the WAN port.. is this why?
  8. So after searching both here and the internet, I've decided to post and be a n00b about it... I have a Fon+ 2201. Flashed and working fine with OpenWRT and Jasager. I have a laptop running XP. I know I should use Linux. But I'm not going to. I have ICS setup on the XP machine, connected to my wifi. I have the Fon+ connected via cat5 and the LAN port to my laptop's ethernet port. I have the Fon+ running DHCP for it's clients, and static IP's for the ethernet port and the FON+. I have everything appearingly configured properly, however the Fon+ clients cannot get the internet. The Fon+ itself can reach various IPs using the laptop's ICS, but the clients connected to it cannot. Is this a VLAN issue? what could be keeping the Fon+ users from reaching the net if the router itself can? Thanks guys.
