  1. i am trying to install webif when i run the ipkg comman i get the erroe: -ash: ipkg: not found Any ideas anyone? Thanks
  2. Is webif installed in the firmware by default? Im not able to find it. Thanks.
  3. OK, Confirmed, it seems to work on the original Fon. Thanks for all the help!
  4. I have done step 10, so im working on step 11. But I was concerned about the WLAN light, also when i Hardwire into the Device i do not get an IP address. and if i try to set a static ip on my comp that does not allow me to connect to the fon. I OK, So i have read thru the guide a few more times, and I am thinking that everything is ok somehow? I am able to get into FonFlash. I have not attampted installing the firmware yet. I was wondering if anyone with a little more knowledge would be able to test the firmware on the normal Fon to ensure that it works?
  5. When i plug a cable into a switch then to my comp I get a self assigned Ip address. i have manualy set my ip as 192.168.10.20/24 and attempted to ssh into 192.168.10.1 but the operation timed out. after the reboot in step 9 the 2 files were removed, so i copied over the out.hex and ran step 10. and that is the sticking point. Thanks
  6. Has anyone tried, or want to try, loading the firware package on a normal fon? Also, I have just completed step 10 and now the WLAN light will not come active, is this normal? Thanks!
  7. Hi, So i just got my Fon (not fon+), I would like to install th firmware. i use a mac, so I have downloaded FonFlash. and I have the firware package. do i just go ahead and run those? are there any prereqs? Thanks! Also: The Fon has firmware version 0.7.0 R2. And I am guessing i should connect using the ethernet cable when doing to flash? With this method is it necesary to enable SSH and do the steps involving redboot in the tutorial. Thanks for all the help!
  8. Sorry to be the n00b of the group. But this is my first time doing something like this, could someone make a guide for this firmware install. Thanks!
  9. Would you happen to have any idea when you might be getting that complete and available. Perhaps I shall wait for that :). Thanks for all your great work!
