  3. Question: Could you run this Dell desktop PSU on batterary power while runing it on a XP Home, with a flat screen monitor, keyboard, mouse, and hooked up to a wireless network? Why: Have a computer in a highschool locker >=) If this is possible, i will make a topic in the mod.
  4. I tried google and yahoo search and cant come up with a cell phone emulator to download and install. Does anyone here know of a sertin place they use to get a cell phone emulator? Im looking so I can get into building Apps for smart phones.
  5. I love this idea. I wish my home town would do this to open jobs. I would be a shoe end after spending time in this community lol. But yeah if the network is open its just beging for someone to come in. Wether or not if it is or isnt wiretapping. Dumb computer users are not smart computer users.
  6. My 1st kit came with Soldering Iron, Holder with Sponge and spool of metal. My 1st mod is soldering 5 points on a Parellel Printer port to a serise of transistors so I can control a RC Car from my PC. And to put everyones mind at ease. I wasnt really breathing in the fumes. When I open my soldering package I wondered "What does it smell like" so right there with a open package I took a big sniff LOL. @Razor512 Like the sound of your setup. I am defintly going to set up a dedicated work area like yours. Cheap is good.
  7. I bought my first Soldering kit! Yay! That stuff stinks. Just had to share
  8. What about the traction? You could take a bike tire and strip it down into strips to get better traction. But then we got traction vs torque.
  9. thanks for hooking me up here. I may have more questions later to post here.
  10. I am needing help on my first electronic circuit build. I got the following on my desk: 2 1/8" Breadboard (it was cheap dont poke fun) 5mm Red LED 1.8 Volt ()20mA()120mcd SPST Micromini Toggle Switch Carbon-Film Resistors 1 kohm 1/8 Watt All bought from Radio Shack. 17. You probly have but I just got to ask, have you tried searching for nanny cams online? They maybe expnsive, Im just guessing. OH! I would take a wireless cam and attach it to the stuff animal. Broadcast it on the internet to a site only you know of. Have the server record it for later view. Thats my theroy. $5 says someone will tell you to use a fon on here lol.
  18. I dont know much but I am going to try. First thing, sorry you have vista. I know the pain that goes with it XP. I am not sure if what you are askin is possible. I do think you can redirect your connection to laby to router away from the internet. But I am sure that if you do my way it will only lead you to connecting to another computer on your network. But I am 75% sure you cant do it without taking out the modem meaning no internet.
