  1. This is my painted fon2100 with fan, battery pack, 18dbi antenna
  2. please try to find space asap :-) i cant wait to get my hands on the new version !!!!!!
  3. i guess you don't have to use this command but than you'll have to choose the interface. In my case i got paranoid because the wlan light didn't work, therefore i assumed that i did something wrong. :-) I did it at 4 in the morning, what do u expect. by the way i think Darren should add this line to his tutorial "echo proc_gpio > /etc/modules.d/80-gpio"
  4. when i initially installed jasager i accidentally skipped step 13 (second part "uci set wireless.wifi0.disabled=0" "uci commit wireless && wifi") than i couldn't understand Why the Fc*K it didn't work. So i went back to step 9 and completely bricked my fon2100 at step 10 With help from Robin Wood and some other guys from dd-wrt forums i managed to unbrick it. It took me like 2 weeks. its actually good to brick your fonera, that way you get to learn about it a bit more
  5. Sup Dude, no offense but i really don't see the point of this mod. It is easier to use an adapter plug to plug your battery. Also you could have used hot glue gun to stabilize the wires instead of cutting into posts. in addition, you've got to use some flux when you soldering. i also prefer to use 100w iron solder(you don't heat up the board if you quick).
  6. as you can see i am a`newbie is there tutorial on how to install them and use em
  7. is it possible to automate the Jasager in the way that all the cooke and passwords be dumped onto sd mmc card. What I'm aiming at is to use fon with sd card and jasager and another fon as a bride without any computer attached. By the way i soldered sd card but it is not functional as i can't find the driver for sd mmc that would work with kamikaze 7.09. Any help with that will be appreciated!!! :-)
  8. the serial cable didn't do me any good, i made it from phone cable as per http://www.digininja.org/fon_seriatl/. (no offense digininja you totally rock) with the cable red boot was in read only mode. connecting fon to the router did not help. so here is what you can do 1) In your computer set your ip as 192.168.1.166 255.255.255.0 192.168.1.254 2) Plug your Fon via Ethernet cable directly to your computer 3) Copy your putty.exe to c:\ 4) On your c:\ create a txt file with the following text in it rem echo off :start rem ------------------------------------------------ ping 192.168.1.254 -n 1 -w 1 > NULL IF ERRORLEVEL 1 goto start rem putty rem ------------------------------------------------ break putty.exe telnet://192.168.1.254:9000 -m redboot.txt exit 5) Rename the above mentioned txt file to redboot.bat 6) On your c:\ create txt file and name it as redboot.txt with the following content in it: ^C 7) Start the bat file and power on the router.....here comes redboot the following steps are optional __________________________________________________________________________ once you'll access redboot use the following tutorial to unbrick http://www.h-i-r.net/2008/10/la-fonera-lab...king-howto.html for this tutorial you will need to download tftpd32 Step 3 in the tutorial "ip_address -l 192.168.1.254 -h 192.168.1.2" change it to "ip_address -l 192.168.1.254 -h 192.168.1.166" also make sure that your tftpd server pointing to the directory where you keep your jasager files. it worked for me,
