ummm i am also sort of a noob...but i would think u could try something like nmap -sP 192.168.0/255 and that would Display all the ips that are active and there IP. Also i found a kindof simple nice tut here http://www.nmap-tutorial.com/pdf/nmap-tutorial.pdf

Also some of the Lightbulbs have printed on there packages warnings saying that the lightbulbs may interfear with some things operating mainliny on the frequencys between .5 and 30mhz Some things like remotes and some communication equipment. I still use them in places around the house that the light stays on alot..like the porches and the garage and the bathrooms. LoL...Yah...nice one... For me.....urm.... oooh i think i know... From my teacher this last year.... Well i was bored today...And my Aunt had called me in to Reformat her computer and get it all running well....and i decided to go Wardriving on the way over here on the 1 hour drive... I was amazed as i came out of the drive way and hit 10 APs... Then even on the Freeway i was still picking up Tons... Over the house i had picked up about 150 or so.... And connected to about 10... But now im sitting here installing everything on my aunts system and adding a WEP Encryption Key and Changing the admin passwords to her new Linksys Wireless router.... .... So bored..

Hmmm....I have all the Stuff to do this....i think i might try it....I just have 2 find what box i put my WinTV Adapter Thing at....

Wow......thats a bit random...but sounds like it would be slightly Entertaining...

Hurm i seem to remember this...U called me and i was half asleep....Something about a Wifi Card :s..... Oooh and can i get my USB Hard Drive back >.<
