Still get the 502 error when proxy changed from local to http://zzj.itf-inc.com/BrowserPAC.js. Yes, I had quad checked and reloaded browserPAC and restarted all and then again.

No offense taken. I was advancing a note of note of likely botchulism on my part. And true to that notion I seemed to have mucked the proxy setting (I'm now getting the 502 error msg), though it appeared to be working fine at the time of my earlier post. Question was: turbo ain't working. Perhaps "no other requests in the log" means there is a disconnect with the FF browser playing Pandora?

Uh, duh, I think so. FF using your local proxy, as always (file:///C:/Program%20Files/Pandora%20Saver%202%20beta/BrowserPAC.js).

Just a note of thanks for adding Slacker. So far it seems they have a fair catalog in my direction, and are not too painful to endure (working on your player ad-auto-mute functions, are you?).

Of the six or so times I've dl's saver2, only once have the so-called binaries been dl'd when SP was first run. More laziness... And then in FF the link must be done in a separate tab or win, otherwise it returns a blank page.

A little more of the obvious and maybe missed: As we happily migrate to the newer and more awesome iterations, blah, blah, it would be nice if PS and SP and company would check for and copy our settings (save folders, save names, mainly) so our lazy slow asses wouldn't have to do it manually and we could get on to providing the insightful and ever-helpful bits of feedback that we have been placed on this earth to provide, so to speak.

Minor issue: FF is my default browser, but opening radio sites through SP spawns IE and the tedium that it is.

Uh, ... Saver2 menu at Sproxy--> Saver2-->config-->plugins-->config PH--> no choices: "enabled reps auto-launch on start" NEVERMIND, got it after restart I see. I can work happily around/with that, though for me personally being able to config each is better so I'm not forced to have separate dirs for items I don't need them for; e.g., I might ideally save Slacker and Grooveshark to the same dir and P and D each to separate ones. Thank you.

For what it is worth, I'm back after a long hiatus.... Somewhat remarkably, Pandora timed me out for the first time today, just as I was configging S2. I really don't mind the $36, it's just the presence of principles that irks me (joke). I do hope they don't shoot themselves in the foot with that one, though. Anyway, the 'dns purge' doesn't help with that, does it? It is just one's IP address that is timed so different accounts on the same machine don't help? I think you may have mentioned this, but I miss the different save folders for P and D, given that the formats are different and that one can rip complete albums at Deezer. Where is the turbo config for Pandora? Perhaps it appears when one is tuned in to Pandora, which I am not. Apologies for not being up to speed. Ok, cool. I had been deleting them manually when they were in my save folder but then I made a new temp save dir from which I would move files into the larger bin and that is what made my prob: I forgot to delete them. Thanks for figuring it out and apologies for the bumble.

What I don't get is the change... Things had been going along much more responsively; then there is the curious thing of the log showing things happening and the web page not showing anything but some initial load, not even one with my personal bits showing though the log shows it. I think you didn't comment much on proxy settings for IE. Mine clearly are not the best (don't laugh): proxy server for LAN only: HTTP: 127.0.0.1; 8888; exceptions: *.local. Seems to send it all through PS. But none of this impacts the bogging of FF. ]In FF, PS/DS must be running for the “BrowserPAC.js” (or other PS/DS proxy options?) to function and thus for Deezer to connect? And why would running SP bog everything down so (but only when enabled), even when it seems to be just waiting itself? I assume the fact that the computer is bogged is why Deezer takes forever and a week to load? FF showing a not so over bloated 300,000 K mem usage. Finally a full page load some 8 minutes later. CPU usage drops into the living/breathing zone.

Tried IE 6 / DS to see if I could get somewhere. No luck; exactly the same, pretty much. Here's the log; hope I didn't edit out something pertinent; just wanted to reduce the size. Hold the phone... my mistake, things progressed, just slowly. I'll check FF to see if this was the case there also, but I remember waiting and waiting. Now while playing and saving, CPU use has dropped from 100% all of the time to something more reasonable. Back up to 100% for a very long time when loading another album.

Cache cleaning ineffective. PS works fine. Oddly: PS/DS state is not restored after orderly exit and restart. PS is always enabled.

Major DS problems today. If DS is started but not enabled all looks fine, but no rip/save can occur. Reloading Deezer with DS enabled causes CPU usage to go to 100%, and Deezer will not fully load, though the DS log looks like it has. Reboot to no avail. Very curious because this is all new. Yesterday all worked well. CPU usage stays at full until DS quit, even if FF quit first. Tried screwing around with the proxy settings but accomplished nothing.
