Okay, I tried Clonezilla and I was so confused. It didn't work unless I'm doing something wrong. I got really excited when I tried FTK. I created a RAW image of the partition. Then I exported the image to the new drive. The new drive says that there are files on it, but I can't seem them. I tried even searching for hidden files and there are none. What am I doing wrong in FTK? Thanks!

Hey guys! I have a failing old IDE HDD. It has many bad sectors. I need to find an application that will clone them while skipping over the bad sectors on the drive. Most apps out there just fail the cloning process due to the fact that there are indeed bad sectors. How can I achieve a cloned disk without the bad sectors on the old disk? Thanks!

Hey guys! I got an Averatec 3120v hanging around and collecting dust. I want to get some ideas for craptop mods because I really want to turn it into something. If I do something with this laptop, then I'm gonna have to take it out of its case most likely because the heatsink in it sucks and it gets wicked hot. The heat melted the text off of most of it (not the keys). Thanks guys and i hope you have some ideas! Thanks

Actually, there are rumors for Apple to release an Apple Netbook this September. Most likely they are trying to get back to school kids to buy it. The rumors say that the price will range around 800 bucks.

Ok. I took it apart to find a huge board. This board is green and not transparent but i could put it behind my lcd inside the monitor. Problem is, my monitor is smaller compared to the board. I am running mac so is there any way to make it think that the size of the board is smaller? Thanks.

Does anyone think or know that parts from a Medion tablet (one of those ons that plugs in by usb and doesn't have a screen) be transformed into a touch screen? Hi everyone! I was just wondering if anybody got Snow Leopard Mac OS X 10.6 to work? I originally wanted to install it on a external hard drive but I found out that the installer will only install on GPT and not MBR. I went into the osinstall.mpkg and removed a line to get it to install on MBR. The installer runs but when I reboot my Mac, it doesn't detect an OS on the external. I am trying to run it on a Intel MacBook Mid 2007. First off, I was trying to get it to run in Parallels or VMware Fusion but neither booted it. Any help please? Thanks in advance, MacBook1137
