Yes the Beta 2 keys work for RC-1. The only download you can get from microsoft is the RC-1 now. I don't know if I posted this is the right place... Microsoft is still not giving out keys yet but there is a workaround if you are interested. First you must have a Live account. Login into that account at this address: http://account.live.com Once logged in goto this address in the same window: http://www.jkg.in/34-how-to-obtain-the-win...al-for-free.htm Pick your contry and enjoy. You can get 2 keys per live account. I know most won't care but for those who do this is for you.

This is what I get in Vista.

I have tried it on XP and Vista. I know it's just a setting somwhere as ettercap is able to do this, but it gives you the option to change to non p mode via the UI. C&A has no such option and I know it uses pcap so I know I can go into the source and change pcap to always run in non-p mode but I want to make sure there isn't something I am overlooking.

I have googled, I have searched these forums, but I can't quite seem to figure this out. I can get ettercap, and ethereal to work just fine because they have the option to scan in non-promiscuous mode. However, C&A does not seem to have an option to switch to non-p mode. I know it uses winpcap and I am afraid I may have to modify the code and rebuild but I wanted to ask here first to make sure their isn't an easier way to switch modes. I am using a crappy atheros a5000 series wireless card if that helps at all. Thanks for any help.

i really did not mean any disrespect with my comments about the forums, but it is irritating reading the same stuff over and over in almost every topic. I dunno, maybe I am just having a bad day because I know how irritating it can get reading stupid questions. So I guess I really have no argument now. I love how America is the only country in the world to be called 'mass murdering tyrants' I mean after all it wasn't Saddam that killed millions of Kurds...it was America. Well I am a big fan of the show but the forums pretty much suck. A majority of the questions asked in these forums are automatically answered with a 'your so freaking stupid' menatality, or a how dare you ask such a stupid question. But anyways, thx for the show, fix the forums.

yea i've been using it for a little while. i just never have any luck with betas' from ms. Everytime I decide to download from them I miss the cut off. I remember trying to do that 'trade-in' program for xp x64. I missed it by one day. I didn't even know there WAS a limited time on that. Grrr.

I've looked but I really don't know what it would be called. I looked through these forums first and from other similar topics guessed it was "anti-wpa" or something to that effect. I will keep looking though. Thanks anywho!

I didn't download the beta 2 before they closed it on the 30th. Because of this all the keys have been used and I can't activate windows. Does anyone know of a crack to bypass this? I have tried looking on piratebay and other torrent sites with no luck. If not it's not that big of a deal. Thanks guys.
