i figured it out there is another posting with the same problem in this section with a guy named randomclown.

yey random clown i got mine to login to work now!! the funny thing is that iam not sure what i did but hear is what i did before it started to work. opened the port 22 on both firewalls on my server system though the cmd line like they said in the videos restarted the computer. the command in plink i used was plink.exe username@domain name or just ip under the tunling tab on the ssh server i chose the alow local port forwarding and allow remote port fowarding. hope this help you to get connected if you do or if some one els could help me get my IE or fire fox connected to this it would be appreciated the error saying you only do 2.08 or something like that in the browser.

LOL this is the same problem i am haveing not so funny though maybe it depends on the type of port fowarding we are useing like there are two kinds tcp and udp i wounder if that makes a difference.

ok i am running he freesshd on computer at home. I am trying to access the ssh from the out side with putty and tried with plink on my laptop also with (putty it says access denied) and (plink will say FATAL ERROR: NETWORK ERROR: CONNECTION TIMED OUT) so i know it is not the wrong password when hear are the snap shots on my laptop. hear are the ones on my desktop at home

yeah guys and gales i have been trying to set up a ssh serer and Client on my laptop. i have a problem with loging in to my ssh server from my laptop (Win Vista) so i had my server running freesshd with port 22 then 443 trying differnt ports and stuff trying to get it to work and also port forwarding on my router for each port that i tried but very time i try to log in i keep getting denied access to the ssh server i have the user name in the ssh and pass word in there and the tunnling option selcted. any one can think what my problem is please help.
