the only 2 uses of modding a xbox that are useful and will save you money is buying your own hard drive and modding it so it can go into the xbox or modding it 2 play your (backups) *wink wink*. IF you build your own i can guarantee the parts will be an ass 2 find and they will cost you a fortune. O yeah just to make everything clear Microsoft does not loss any money when they sell an xbox they break even. Then they make money from game licensing. Nintendo everytime they sell a Wii makes 5$ (not much i know )and sony losses money everytime they make a ps3. All console makers make most of there money by licensing games. there are some things that are meant 2 be built PC,giant antennas and some things like laptops that are just a waste of money. Im not saying its impossible im just saying that its a waste of time and money and i dont think anyone has ever built one from strach. The mods that are the most extreme are like case mods or liquid cooling never beyond that. Hope i helped

I already know that im just thinking of putting a payload on the first partition then putting distros on the others since im pretty sure that they will be detected in the bios. Kind of frustrated that mac and linux only have usb partition support. cuz it seems a waste 2 carry that many usb sticks with all my distros. thank you for your help

Good work here enjoy the new version but there is one thing when ever i try to run leaposes payload on vista it says that it cant find the go.vbs so then i tried logging onto my computer and i go to system and i can clearly see go.vbs and when i click it it says that vista cant find go.vbs even though its right in front of its face !!! any help would be gladly appreciated There also seems to be a number of bugs for leaposes payload i cant get it work no matter what ive tested it on vista32bit,vista 64bit, and xp 64 bit has anyone else gotten this 2 work

First off its not that simple if you could steal the password just like that then security team might as well lay out a welcome mat for you. Switchblade steals something called hashes those hashes you have to crack using a variety of methods dictionary,bruteforce, rainbow tables. If your looking to get vista passwords your out of luck because no payload right now can get the hashes. Even if you somehow get the hash of vista they can be very hard to crack. Right now i don`t think that you are ready enough to start using a switchblade i suggest that you understand more about hashes and password cracking. Its a complex progress (for a noob like you) 1. assuming that u want a u3 payload (plz tell me you know what this is) flash the custom iso 2. plug into box 3. get log files and crack the hashes its not as simple as download plug in and your done. By the way what im doing is VERY nice most people would tell you to read the forums. Im not going to give a step by step guide because thats spoon feeding and to tell you the truth thats what im doing right now P.s for the pros and 1337 haxor that are reading this im trying to make it noob friendly since most of you are scoffing at how simple i made it

Hey um i am sorry for asking this but how do u boot this off with unetbootin i have boot previous version of distros off usb using unetbootin. After i make the usb and boot it the screen is grey where it just countdowns the boot then loops again any ideas or am i just doing it wrong.

Um for your first answer i was thinking that this would be a payload that can be run on everything including mac,linux,vista,etc and for your second im not thinking about making a distro then running the payload im saying that if the computer does not support booting from a usb then you can use this thing im pretty sure its not a live cd that changes it so that you boot from your usb. sorry for being noob and not being specific

Um there is a livecd that makes you boot of your usb if the targeted computer does not support it. For me i personally don't like live cds for this task becuase your copying data and what if the traget computer has no internet then your screwed. Besides this payload is not meant for stealth its just meant 2 punch a whole in anything.

I think that we have a small problem most os hold there information in different places. Example C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\sam might not exist on vista or a different os. The purpose of this payload would be to work on all os so to get around this i guess you would have to search several files. Maybe a screen could popup when you boot it up and you could select which os its running on

Um so has anyone tried this boot off a bartpe usb then try there favourite usb payload ? What were the results (ill test it on my self later)

Hi im not sure if this will work but while i was thinking about ophcrack live cd i thought about how they got around the loophole of need admin or whatever to get the hashes they booted it from a live cd. Then i thought if we could boot a linux distribution then run the switchblade from there ? cuz from what i have herd there are portable windows xp, Would the vulnerabilities be the same ? If it worked we would not have to worry about AVs and the possibilities would be endless!!! Of course its to run from a usb not a cd But srsly if this worked it would work on most computers the only draw back is that you would have to wait while it boots and it would not be exactly stealth since you have to boot. Does anyone think that this will work thanx!!!

Ok so for combining xp and vista live CD`s i just add the tables to the corresponding place and im done don't they use different hashes ? If i use the xp disk will the dump work on vista 2 ? And for everyone who is suggesting hash checkers thanks!! :)

Um i kinda want it to be usb since you can have both the vista live cd and the xp live cd and what do u mean by checking the MD5 hash thanx for the quick reply
