  1. Glad to hear you got it sorted. And thanks :)
  2. I've checked the code, and I'm not seeing any mechanism through which the youtube enabled setting can be disabled programmatically (outside of user, unless you XXXXX nevermind, figured it out. You need to tick both the enable saving videos from youtube and on the plugins page after that tick the checkbox next to youtube. The problem is that that plugins page (which handles enabled status like that) is overwriting what the youtube page was setting. Will remove the setting from the youtube page, as it probably never worked and is redundant. You probably installed when youtube being off was the default, and never tried to turn it on until recently.
  3. It's quite unlikely, sorry. A native port would require changing languages (baaaad); though mono could be an option with a new output layer (assuming it does not eat shit and die with all the UI stuff). It would likely not perform so hot, though. You're better off using a client like pianobar or pithos, really [other third party pandora clients]. FWIW, Saver2 will function under mono currently. Just not the client.
  4. Sidenote, rdio.com is not supported, forgot the specific reason. I was not impressed by it at any rate, recommend pandora/grooveshark instead.
  5. File is fine. Verify your audio hardware is functioning (do you have mute on?) and mp3 codecs are working. Try playing it with mplayer located in the Saver2 install folder (drag and drop the file on mplayer.exe) - this should definitely work. Also, good song.
  6. Sorry, I didn't see this post. It's supposed to mail me, but the hak5 forums have been buggy since the update. What is getting disabled again? Upload a file somewhere (or send it to zigzagjoe AT gmail DOT com), and I will have a look.
  7. You don't have system.windows.forms installed - probably you used apt-get install mono. Will look up the specific package you need to get that library in a min. This is my current list: libmono-accessibility2.0-cil install libmono-corlib1.0-cil install libmono-corlib2.0-cil install libmono-data-tds1.0-cil install libmono-data-tds2.0-cil install libmono-i18n1.0-cil install libmono-i18n2.0-cil install libmono-microsoft7.0-cil install libmono-mozilla0.2-cil install libmono-security1.0-cil install libmono-security2.0-cil install libmono-sharpzip0.84-cil install libmono-sharpzip2.84-cil install libmono-sqlite2.0-cil install libmono-system-data1.0-cil install libmono-system-data2.0-cil install libmono-system-web1.0-cil install libmono-system-web2.0-cil install libmono-system1.0-cil install libmono-system2.0-cil install libmono-winforms2.0-cil install libmono0 install libmono1.0-cil install libmono2.0-cil install mono-common install mono-gac install mono-gmcs install mono-jit install mono-mjs install mono-runtime install mono-tools-devel install mono-utils install libmono-winforms2.0-cil should be the one you need.
  8. Grooveshark has updated, old plugin does not sniff updated metadata but will use id3 tags correctly (thus saving should still be fine). Updated ad-busting also, and added a new plugin for batanga.com. Not going to deploy an update just yet as I'm expecting another service to update. If someone wants the beta, drop by IRC.
  9. Probably the video is cached - clear the cache of the browser and try again. (1000th post in this thread lol)
  10. :) Pandora (and slacker) are good for just listening to music - Grooveshark's radio thing is a sad joke. Grooveshark is best to cherrypick certain titles/albums with. Either use system proxy settings or auto conf url would work.
  11. 1. Don't worry, we have pills to control that. 2. Timeout problem is likely your local connection; upload a log anyways. If the outages are only for a minute or so at a time you can increase the retry delays - by default, it waits 10s then tries to connect again, and if that fails it stops completely. 3. To save from grooveshark or other supported services, you need to first set up your browser - see http://zzj.itf-inc.com/s2/docs/noobhelp.html (Pandora is the only one I wrote a standalone client for). After setting up your browser, you just listen to grooveshark et al normally and files will be saved. Check the Services menu (under saver2, on the sproxy window) for a full list. 4. All supported services save as individual music files; SProxy is not set up in a manner which can support saving from streams. Bitrate of grooveshark mp3s is 128kbs minimum, may be higher.
  12. Optional patch deployed two days ago to fix an occasional grooveshark problem. Also adds toaster functionality.
  13. For those who updated in the last hour, fix deployed. This, is why we test things before release. Le sigh.

  18. In short, I'm using the same source files for 4 projects, for the sake of my sanity. I will add crypto.decryptstr/encrypt back in the pandora crypto namespace.
  19. Mmm... seems that the crypto namespace in the client is private. Why do you need to use the crypto stuff? If i change the protection level, it will become visible in all the things which use the same crypto code.
  20. I've stopped using seperate sets of crypto source for each program that uses it; all of them use the client's source files now, so the namespace has changed to Client.Crypto.
  21. Remembering feedbacks for a station is an interesting idea - will look into it. Filterable station search, maybe. I have no experience with making one though. Also, i've created a new plugin for 8tracks.com. Recommended listening: http://8tracks.com/leonfrey/encounters-at-...nd-of-the-world Outputs 64kbs aacplus and 320(!)kbs mp3. Beta available for those who drop by irc. Plugin also grants unlimited skips on 8tracks (!)
  22. That's a really weird error message, the response code doesn't match either... are you on some odd network? The site is definitely working, so I really don't know what to tell you - maybe download the installer on another pc/network, then copy it over and install it over your old version? (same thing an update does)
  23. Update. servername is now much less important; the Host header will be used to populate servername and listenport if present. added /rehashsettings, to change login and some other settings of a running instance added --readonly-config and ReadOnlyConfig to cause the caster to not write to the config file added FancyPlaylist (default true), to disable fancy playlists with station select links --fork now works under mono added --pid to write process ID fixed a critical error preventing login on some browsers added post variables being set in SSI and updated login.html login cookie is now specific to IP, this has added some restrictions to --kill but otherwise is a security improvement cookies are now parsed into the cookie[] psuedoarray and get variables into get[] added various functions to support seeding stations and seedstation.html added direct variable compare functions add getlasterror to get the last RPC error added direct comparison for if and ifstrequals marked as obsolete removed some code duplication added include caching include will automatically grab file.inc if it exists (rather than file) -- allows <!--#include "file"--> to include file.inc added push and pop stack functions (used for vars only, not code) added 5000ms timeout for SSI updated addFeedback rpc synced crypto with client updated to v29 + new keys
