In your example I can understand, but he made the site look terrorist related on purpose. He kept saying "I don’t why they associated it with terrorism", yet he made every effort to make to site look like it was hostile. I just can't see anything in his little response but completely shallow observation. If he would have done it and then made some response about how he fooled everyone, or that making it look hostile was part of the project to begin with, then I wouldn't even care. But instead he tried to elevate himself by not only classifying everyone he "tricked" as foolish, but also part of some ignorant group of witch hunters. I thought it was a hoax from the beginning (see my original post before the counter ran out) so he wasn't speaking of me in his statement, nonetheless I can't stand him building a cold weather machine then being surprised when everyone starts to feel cold.

I complete agree, and I’m not denying how well they pulled it off. I thought it was a great hoax. My problem was his overly zealous and self-gratifying analysis of people’s reaction to it. He basically stacked the deck to tantalize the conspiracy theory/terrorism scared crowd and then acted surprised at their reaction. I even wrote that: "I would have volumes more respect for him than I do now. This 23 year old web developer (probably lives in his parents basement designing websites for the local muffler shop owner in exchange for repairs on his ‘84 Nissan Stanzawagon) actually pulled off a significant and slightly original feat on the internet. However, his shallow understanding of people and the obvious way he stacked the deck so the results would support his conclusion is so hackneyed and clichéd, it’s almost not worth mentioning the website at all." He pulled it off, props for that. That doesn't help him escape the fact that he is still an idiot.

The site is a shell, the password prompts arent even real, they are just javascripts that autodirect you to a fake access denied page some of the pages that have seemingly dynamic content are really just html pages with no scripts im pretty sure this is just a big hoax

I think the best approach is to use their own poison against them. Find some flashy lawyer who wants to make his/her name "fighting against big bad corporations" then have your lawyer sue the shit out of that company for harrasment and get every newspaper, magazine, news talk show and radio talk show on your side in the process. Fuck em, enough people want to have it out for these big companies, mine as well use it in your favor.
