i have now pluged the pineapple directly in to my router and it now has internet access

ok so i can connect to the pineapple over with but it does not wont to share my computers network connection

ok i have tried going to 172.16.42.1:1471 and that gets me into the pineapple. thanks so does 172.16.42.1/pineapple do something different

I got my first pineapple (the holiday bundle) and followed the windows Ethernet tethering guide. I set up all the IP address and then I have to go to http://172.16.42.1/pineapple which then redirects me to 172.16.42.1/redirect.php and then just stops or the page just wont load. I have tried to connect over WiFi and Ethernet on different devices but just get the same thing please help. P.S I don't have a computer that runs Linux just mac and PC.
