  1. simplest game engine you could use would probably be game maker...you can still input code into it if you want to using the game maker language. http://www.yoyogames.com/make
  2. 1 or 2 weeks ago I posted a question asking how people learned by themselves and most people responded by telling me to get books. So i did some research online and went down to my local bookstore and found a few that I've found useful. Hacking: The Art of Exploitation by Jon Erickson, as well as The C Programming Language by Brian Kernighan and Dennis Ritchie. These books have been very helpful by themselves and in conjunction with each other and just wanted to pass them along. Thank you Hak5. Hacking: The Art of Exploitation The C Programming Language
  3. I bought the K&R C programming language when i started learning, as well as a reference book on HTML/XHTML, i do agree it's easier on the mind and eyes to look at pages than a screen.
  4. Hi, my names Louie and I'm new to this forum but not so new to programming and computers. Recently I've been trying to learn C/C++, Perl, Ruby, SQL...programming in general, and i get distracted easily and end up working on something else. I really want to learn and i know no one will tell me how to learn (obviously that's up to me) but I was wondering if anyone could tell me how they taught themselves or learned to program. Thank you in advance.
