  1. mmmmmm pointless eyyyyye caaaaandy
  2. for get the IP, but it's probably. I have to enter to that page and that the page thinks that my ip is something like: 562.3698.2.3 or any imposssible IP, like spoofing ip, but just on web level...i repeat, a friend told me that with proxies and stuff...i can't imaginate how...haha...but i've been loocking for information and try to think in a method...but i can't Cya your friends an idiot... and if you believe him you are too... next time you see him tell him "proof or GTFO"
  3. all of your servers are Halo2 and XBL is 50 less then the price of a game a year for a 400$ gaming system
  4. No you have it backwards formating and installing is like getting the words best surgeon to replace the area with a skin graft and have it come up with no scars. trying to fix a problem in windows is like trying to treat a broken arm with an ace bandage. Yeah it might fix it but the arm will never heal right. and if it is the router causing explorer.exe to crash you DON'T think windows needs to be reinstalled?!
  5. yeah who wants great service with tons of people and lots of downloadable extras from a trustable company when they can pay some random website for the ability to play halo 2 with people who have been kicked off xbox live for god knows why...
  6. yes, that's the point, if a send a SYN with that IP and then i send the correct ACK there the problem will be stopped, but i'm behind a router, but surely there is another way...he says it's easy, he entered with that IP with his firefox...and i saw the logs...he did... Cya HE did it to what with what how? With what logs where? Just a little more detail would be good. And is english your first language
  7. You're going to need to create you're own packet, and I doubt it would even make it past a router. If it does you'd never be able to get any of the data back because the web server would send the data back to the fake IP.
  8. There's a neat little program by the name of Wubi (no joking). It adds your choice of ubuntu on the startup menu. Like duel booting...only billions of times simpler. If you decide you don't like ubuntu, just boot back into windows and uninstall Wubi like you would a normal program. It will be gone without a trace. Here's the download link: http://www.download.com/Wubi/3000-2094_4-1....html?tag=lst-1 Hope this helps. wubi ftl

  11. he/we did, we went over this already
  12. you've never use linux before linux is the last thing I'd label at 'Just works'
  13. not even close... but it runs
  14. this is completely true for a server debian is probably better than ubuntu but maybe if it's your first server ubuntu is a better choice than debian but ubuntu will not work on a computer with 32 mb ram and 300 Mhz cpu but debian-from-scratch would happily
  15. I hope to god Ubuntu server doesn't come with a GUI! Friends don't let friends install ubuntu! my recommendation for the high end is the same for the low end Debian!
  16. I love aptitude too much but freeBSD (once you get it installed) is very solid
  17. do not put a GUI on it, just install something simple and learn the command line. I like debian but it's not newbie friendly
  18. that's very strange google is very good at catching spam (had a problem with a script I wrote and it 'mail bombed' me I got the first 2 but the other 40 went into spam
  19. all you really need is a router(not a home nat device) and something DNS to get the CORE of the internet TCP/IP wants to work, it's a very good protocol. IMHO
  20. ...do they make a wireless card the size of a microSD? oh god I WANT ONE
