Don't know whether you have ordered your stuff yet, but for the price you were getting the GFX cards for its not worth it, you could spend your money on one of their Quadro cards, these cards are fully integrated with CUDA and are meant for this kind of work. Of course if you are going to game it is not really worth it, but it would be a much wiser investment on your part if you plan on using this computer for high scale computational stuff.

The tesla card is not for gaming or 3d rendering. It is for HPC needs, remember the tesla does not have any video outputs it is there purely to crunch numbers. It is intended for graphically intensive calculations, think a high scale version of folding at home. To be honest you may be able to recode it using CUDA to work for games, but which games would take advantage of it and I'm not sure it works in the right way to aid that kind of work

Hi guys, I've been looking to open my companies up to the web a bit more, the best way I can think to do this is to make an audio podcast then eventually go to video. My main question is : I have a mac... I can't find any software that lets me stream directly to the web like SAM broadcaster on windows. I would use windows it's just a hell of alot easier to use it in mac. So does anyone know of some software that would allow me to do this, preferably free and oepn source if possible. Also is there a way of streaming it directly to the web server then the webserver sharing it out elsewhere so my home broadband doesn't get eaten. I'm currently running on a VPS if this helps anyone? I just sold my eeepc701 but I always found that getting backtrack to sit at a nice res was tough anyone else have problems like that, I just found it was just that little bit too small!
