  1. Ah dude screw them. You are who you are. I'm happy to be called a geek.
  2. It is not recommended to do NIC teaming on 2003 because it is very unstable and NIC teaming causes unpredictable network behavior. Don't get me wrong NIC teaming (failover not load balanced) works and if you are not so concerned about 100% redundancy then team two NICs. One idea is why not have two switches, one active and one backup. Setup the NICs with the same IP and make the switch become active if one fails.
  3. This was uncalled for. The fact that you didn't know your public IP changes in my book makes you unfit to call someone a noob. The reason dyndns is around is for this very purpose to let an app like dyndns updater keep track of your IP changes and you not have to worry about it.
  4. Yep google cache has been fixed but if you are trying to get someone's account and you know them. Get on there network and run Hamster. Don't ask how to do just do some research and you will find your answers.
  5. try booting up a linux distro with aircrack-ng and then start up an AP that way using airbase-ng. This should get you started and after you have the AP up set up some securtiy. #modprobe tun airbase-ng -C 9 -e "wifi" -v ath0 <creates a tap interface> ifconfig at0 up 10.0.0.1 netmask 255.255.255.0 echo > /var/state/dhcp/dhcp.leases dhcpd -cf /etc/dhcpd.conf echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -o eth0 -j MASQUERADE
  6. The site is back up with new content. :)
  7. http://www.amazon.com/Fon-FON2201B-Fonera-...6715&sr=8-1 BOOYAH! That was easy.
  8. Another good way to do is thru a SSH tunnel. Set up RDP to only travel thru your tunnel.
  9. @h3%5kr3w - thats just cruel. :P @geeklink - please don't come to the forums asking for hacking advice. This is for discussions. Now if you came in here and said hey guys look what I've done then thats a different story. Also, I can almost guarantee you don't have the public IP and instead you have the private IP in which case you wouldn't be able to do anything either way.
  10. LOL!!! Hilarious. You want to hack WPA; reset the router. LOL!!!
  11. LMAO!!!! Who comes up with this shiznit. I learned some men need to get out more.

  14. Are you using the latest and greatest jasager firmware or piranha firmware.
  15. Personally I use KDE 4 but I would like to know whats the HAK.5 community preference in WMs.
  16. I was on a flight back with Continental Airlines from South America when my seat monitor had to be reset and I was very pleased to see tuxedo penguin staring at me telling me everything was gonna be alright. A note to those other O/S's; you want to impress me then do it at 30,000 feet in the air.

  18. You can't just buy an RDP server ready made. You can buy the software (like HP Altiris) or just use free software like TFTPD and RIS. Your choice. Why not just install VMware onto your machine and run a RDP server from there.
  19. This was already covered in Systm
  20. I used Altiris Deployment Server to deploy my images
  21. I have this fonera model and currently I'm using the piranha firmware and it works great. The easiest way to accomplish this is to use Linux and an Ethernet cable. - Use easyflash for Linux - download the squashfs and lzma piranha firmware - create a script and name it "flash" sudo ./easyflash eth0 openwrt-atheros-root.squashfs openwrt-atheros-vmlinux.lzma - open a terminal and cd into the directory and type ./flash
