  1. I absolutely LOVE python, it is probably the most rapid dev language I've used. But I'd also recommend learning C/C++, you can do a lot more with C than you can do with pretty much any other language. but as dr0p said, perl is a big language out there right now. And a lot of the exploit scripts you'll find will be written in it, so a basic understanding is probably a plus (doesn't take much)
  2. Upon further looking, it's fully open source (duh, it's mozilla) you can check out ALL of the source-code here http://hg.mozilla.org/labs/personas/personas Thanks for giving me a project to work on this week! =D
  3. Wow, well... the court system doesn't house the most tech savvy people around... http://www.circleid.com/posts/811611_david_ritz_court_spam/
  4. I'd start by looking at the Javascript that the persona's site uses. And guess what!? It uses JQuery for all of it. Go check it out and see if you can find anything, if not I'll try to look at it on monday or tuesday. http://www.getpersonas.com/static/js/script.js
  5. Oooh, I never thought of doing something like that. You won't be able to get very good high def through the eeePC, 720p max if that. I'd recommend getting something like the AspireRevo. It uses the Nvidia ION platform which uses the GPU for bluray decoding, allowing for full 1080p playback. It only costs $260, so it's pretty affordable for what you get. As far as the dolphin emulator part goes, I'm sorry but that's not going to happen. With dolphin being just last gen it'll take a powerful computer for it to play anywhere near full speed. But you could always throw an NES emulator on there =D Edit: I should add, the AspireRevo is looking at a mid may release date. So it'll be after your CS exams =)
  6. Awesome guide! I've been working on a python script to do stuff like this. Shutdown computer, put to sleep, download torrents to my uTorrent autodownload directory. I'll have to post it on here when it's done. Thanks for the guide though! =D
  7. PHP, Ruby, Python, Java. Those are the easiest for me. But it really depends on what my mood is. HTML is a language, but I'll take it as seriously as an answer as those answering english.
