  1. Perhaps killing the entire anti-virus program is the wrong way to go about it. Killing the entire program is obviously going to be the most defended against by AV software vendors and the most likely to set off an alarm. Has anyone considered merely disabling the components of the anti-virus suite that is causing us the problems? It may be much simpler to disable the resident shield component in many cases or to add the switchblade to the exceptions list from scans. In my experience dealing with McAfee and AVG, the programs are only discovered once loaded into RAM when scanned by the resident shield. Just a few thoughts to keep everyone thinking.
