  1. Everytime I boot my fonera, I have to manually click the "Change" button next to "Karma is currently: OFF" on the web interface for jasager. Is there any way to automate that? :)
  2. Okay I found a temporary solution which may indeed be even cooler that what I was originally thinking. My plan was to run ettercap on the computer connected through the pc port. But instead I got ettercap working on my fonera+ so now I can simply run it from there! How cool is that :P I got a script to make it start at bootup and save the log onto the Fonera+. So far ettercap works great in passive mode but I want to see if I can get it to work interactively so I can setup som fake ssl certifications. Once ettercap is up and running (you can get the package from openwrt's website), the proper command would be: ettercap -T -p -u -i eth0.1 The files are pretty big so I would recommend installing 1 dependency at a time, deleting the ipkg once finished. Oh and btw googling a bit I see almost no one has discussed ettercap on the fon/openwrt, why not? Its amazing imo. If only I also could get dsniff running :)
  3. As the title says, is that possible. I know I could put a computer between the fonera vlan and the internet but that would require 2 ethernet ports on the pc between. It would be pretty cool if I could simply plug my laptop into the computer port and be able to read all the traffic between wifi clients and the vlan(internet) port. Is that possible in anyway? I'm thinking somehow make the OpenWrt act as a hub but I'm not sure. What would be the best method if its even possible. :)
  4. Thanks for the help :) in the meanwhile I succeeded with that guide and found out that all of what I have done is completely useless as I will be reflashing the firmware anyways :P .. I also found out what Redboot was and how to access it and feel like a complete idiot for asking that question in my original post :D. I also found out how to unbrick the router :P. Pretty easy actually
  5. I received my Fonera+ model 2201 firmware 1.1.1 r2. So after doing a bit of research on how to get Jasager up and running it seems I have to start here: http://www.fonboard.nl/wiki/HowTo_Foneraplus_unlocking2 But reading the guide underneath "Prerequisites", it says I need a working redboot? I tried ignoring that and simply followed the guide, but the script wont work on so I'm guessing redboot is what I need to fiddle with but after googling for quite a while, I havent gotten any useful information. So what is this RedBoot and how do I get it? :) Best Regards, Deathray (PS. I havent plugged my fonera to the internet scared it will upgrade it's firmware)
  6. Great I just received it and gave it some power and have been googling a bit on what the best approach would be to get jasager up and running. There are soooo man tutorials and ways of doing it - what would be the most up-to-date? Godfather950, how did you get yours up and running? :)
  7. Wouldnt that be more sloppy as it would require the executable file to contain the entire python runtime?
  8. So I just ordered the Fonera+ and am brainstorming a bit. Well I definitely want a BackTrack system to sniff the traffic that goes though the Fon running Jasager. But my question is: Do I have to use 2 network interfaces on my computer to bridge the Fon+ to the internet or is it somehow possible to replicate all of the traffic going through the internet out of the other ethernet port on the Fon? I recall hearing something about Jasager (Open-Wrt) not using the second ethernet port. Any other ideas? Maybe a network tap between the internet and Fonera, then I avoid using 2 nics on my PC. edit: oops an ethernet tap requires 2 nic's aswell I just found out :P.
  9. From a hackers point-of-view, what are the benefits of v2 than the older one?
  10. lol yeah I did steal the batch + vnc from gonzors payload :D ... But I thought it was great because it installs itself as a service and no AntiVirus detect it as a virus plus windows firewall doesent seem to care VNC binding to a port :) Yeah probably - but that would require me learning python first AND the victim would have to have python installed on his computer, which is not realistic and I want my lab to be realistic :). Thanks Zimmer for the link. Hope you didn't use any more time than I would of if I looked for it by myself.
  11. Thanks guys for the friendliness :) . As long as it isn't impossible to get jasager working, I don't care. The harder the more I learn anyways :b. I'll order one right away :D By the way - does Jasager work better than airbase-ng? I wrote this tutorial over at remote-exploit but airbase-ng doesen't seem to work that stable/reliable. Oh another quick.. LAST question before I buy.. any disadvantages of the + (plus) version vs the other?
  12. Thanks for the help guys. But what I meant was that I do know that jasager can work on the Fon+, but I was thinking about the firmware. On the Hak5 episode they say DONT PLUG IT TO THE INTERNET. Well my thought was that if I bought a Fon+ today that it might already have that special firmware that doesent allow you to flash with the different firmware. Or have I misunderstould and you can actually flash OpenWRT on any firmware version.
  13. If I buy a Fon Fonera+ today, April the seventh - Will I be able to get Jasager working on it? I see many of the guides are old and I don't want to waste the money if it wont work :P. Thanks in advance guys! :)
  14. Been there, done that. iexpress.exe has some limits in the way it works. Not going to explain why but basically it sucks :P
  15. A link would be great there are so many videos :P
