  1. A rather sad and depressing post right there! gEdit man, gEdit!!! (If on GNU/Linux).
  2. I went from 51+ (two desktops full actually), to 0.
  3. Why are some of you saying HTML isn't a language. It is, your making it sound like you're mixing the definition of "language" with "learning curve". It's a language, with a simple learning curve. HTML!
  4. Urban Terror X-Moto GridWars 2 Prey And a whole lot more of cause! While we're on this topic, I might as well share a project of mine. http://linuxgamereviews.org/ Linux Game Reviews, reviews GNU/Linux games from any genre! Expect new reviews monthly.
  5. Free as in freedom? Or free as in doesn't cost? gNewSense is an awesome completely free distrobution, which doesn't use ANY proprietary software. It uses the GNU version of the Linux kernel, which has all proprietary firmware taken out. So, it's 100% free as in freedom :D. You can also check out the other distro's listed at GNU's website. As there are about 5 other distro's in which are free as in freedom as well. Hope that helps... And yeah, Ubuntu is an awesome distribution, especially if your new to the GNU/Linux scene.

    Linux top 5

Debian Lenny/Sid Awesome distro, very flexible, wicked packing system, is a core distro for a lot of other distros (Ubuntu for one). Maybe the only downside I have had, is with my laptop. Lenny/Sid version of X took a while to fix a major bug, which made my fonts (every) extra large. There was a work around for it though, and it's since been fixed. Did take a long time though. But overall 9/10 for the distro. I mainly use tty's for my work, but I do use fluxbox, xfce and gnome from time to time. Why do I use Debian over any other distro? Because I haven't experimented with other distro's all that much yet. I've used maybe 5 other distros, but not for a long period of time, just quick glances, how there packing system works etc. For instance, Red Hat 9 (long long time ago), Gentoo etc. Plan on testing out a lot more distro's in the future, so my "frav" distro could well change. PS, might be nice if you add a poll to this thread, see what's the most commonly used hak5 distro! :D
