So what does everyone do? meaning -work -free time -hobbies -sports idk just wondering what other people like to do so ill start everyday thats not sat. and sunday i go to school then i stay after for either football but since the season just ended i workout with some kids and the lineman coach then i usually come home and dont do homework and just go on the computer just to spend all my time not actually doing anything but pushups and situps then sometimes i go to work that doesnt give me any hours (does anyone have suggestions on a new one?)

Seriously to tell you guys the truth, you are wasting your time trying to hack into the school stuff. Most admins are updated daily on new security breaches and things like that, so if they're at least have half a brain like the ones at my school then you aren't going to breach anything and you are wasting your time. But if they don't have half a brain then bring in a laptop with cain and abel on it. Run C&A and have to sniff for passwords and then you can log in as the admin and change the settings for another kid so that you don't get your account in trouble under your name.

Well I've been looking into system administration i've also been looking at colleges in new york and found a few i still have 1 one year of high school as i am in my junior year so i still have some thinking time

well if i were you i would practice on our own home setup so you dont get into legal trouble then once you understand how to use it efficently then park out of range of cameras and go sit on a bench so you can leave easy or sit in your car so people dont see you with a random pineapple with the fon in it

Watch a couple episodes of hak5 and they'll discuss how easy it is to sniff packets, hijack cookie sessions, and setup the fon... Then you can either watch further or Google efficient ways to protect yourself against these attack.

Well I just watched the newest episode today and I am sure if you watched you would see the same things I did. Basically with all those tools together you will be able to literally hijack someones session say at a coffe shop. (Man In The Middle Attack) So I think ferret captures the cookies, and hamster decodes it or displays it I forget. And the Fon is one of the most amazing things ever. It is used for a program called Jasagar(V1 and V2). Lets put it into a senario..... -You are at a coffe shop miles away from home. -But you see your home wireless access point. -This isn't really it but it's the Fon(Jasagar) saying it is What this does it allow the person running the Fon to give people internet but he is most likely hijacking your session stealing vital data such as myspace password, email passwords, and yes if he was malicious enough your credit info/social security info. Usually people are dumb enough to think their wireless access point is now suddenly showing from miles away which should be a red flag right there but they connect anyway.

Like the title says, what happened to the live chat? or atleast the java one? Are they just taking it down temporally or was it a one time thing? I thought the cam thing was pretty cool along with the whole live chat too.

Yeah and I also saw an episode of system were they took a very old box and put ipcop on it and their main firewall that the other computers connect too so the other computers don't need a firewall and can run faster

Well Im sure that the salary will be low when first being hired but just go somewhere were the cost of living is lower and gain expiernce and then you can go work for another company

really? I've always heard that it wasn't good to just have the windows firewall as it isn't that great and it leaves you open to attacks. But I guess if you are safe with your internet usage you'll be fine But I am also on a laptop so if I ever plug directly into a modem there wouldn't be one in the router

What is the best firewall out there for Windows Xp?

Okay so I've been looking around at computer majors and I think I've found one I would like to major in, System Administration/Computer Information specialist... I have some questions about the major/college. What are some good/cheap colleges that are out there for this major? Is this a difficult major to go into? Are there any good schools in the New York area? Are there any schools that have sport programs as well as the major I am looking at? What are some prices for these schools? What is the average salary for this job if you are in the field? Ive researched about 60,000-100,000+ a year....

The best way to totally pwn a computer is to go down to your local Ace Hardware store and Walmart to getthese items... -Hammer -Nail -Bottle of Water Once you get these items go to your brothers system, open one side of the case. The put one of the nails you bought and place it right above the Hard Drive. Then use the Hammer you bought and bang on the nail repeatedly. This will cause the nail to penetrate the victims Hard Drive and totally mess up his system. Then you must take the hammer once more and smash in Motherboard so it is rendered useless. Then take the Bottle of Water and drink it so you don't become dehydrated. Now just seal the system back up like nothing ever happened. Lastly set up a hidden camera and tape is reaction to the system not working. Then take his monitor and sell it on EBay But really you could search for some guides, and videos. Which would save you alot of time and money.....

Well as long as you aren't sniffing their packets or reviewing past sites for useful info such as credit cards and social numbers then i guess it's like grey because its showing their weakness, but still breaching
