i personally like the ipod touch... and the finger air hockey game it THE SHIT but anyway... the speakers it comes with are kinda gay me and my friends were trying to huddle around it and watch some stupid video and we could barely hear it... the interface is great its pretty and very very user friendly... id personally go for a phone you can do so much more with them... but make sure your getting something that isnt craptastical

what if you could take a multiple usb cables... firewire whatever... it would tranfer data from my comp to my external device or vis versa and the way it would do this would be to divide the data up and transfer separate portions of data at a time and join it all back together when it reached either the comp/ext. would this be possible? can data be divided like this? i assume i could divide data like this but how would i make it so that it would run through both cables... and how would i ensure it safely joined it all back togethor without screwing everything up O.o?

your loads of help... anyways... i have a tiny bit of experience with linux. ive been using ubuntu for about a month now... and whenever ive come to find a problem ive been able to fix it every time.... the guides i find online are my saviours and as much of a hassle all of this has been i never did get tired of it... its loads of fun :D i know how to use the terminal... i know how to get the info if im lost... but XP for me is just for games... and linux is going to be better for me in the long run i think im looking into openBSD and fedora and finding out what i can about them both...

After all these troubles with reinstalling XP and stuff... ive realised that im doing this entirely for games... and a few compatibility issues ive had with a couple of other programs... no big deal... and honestly yah games are fun and ive made a lot of friends... but other then that all they do is take me downhill... grades have been affected... and time i know i could spend doing something much more enriching is being used for "pwn1ng n00bs ftw!!!1!1!" and screaming in chat because everyone but me is a complete idiot... (i swear its true >.<) lol anyway... so what i was thinking was saying fuck windows (for now) and sticking with linux but id like to run more from the command line than having a great GUI what distro of linux should i go for? any books i should look into? also what websites should i look to for a wealth of info? id really like to learn as much from this as possible

yes its a pirated version... but i have installed it previously and it works great... :P my comp is gateway and ill try fixing it from the cd BSOD happens after all the drivers and such are loaded and it says its starting the windows system... afterwords BSOD comes up and i get owned...

so here is my problem... i started out with windows home edition... then i switched to linux... then i switched to winn pro... then i switched to vista (big mistake...) then i switched back to linux because i couldnt install xp from linux... and now im stuck at linux -.- i want xp back... here is what i have tried to do... i have made several cds with xp on them... none of which helped... i get the fucking blue screen... ill post what it says later i have tried reformatting the drive and then installing... i had to reinstall linux 5 times in 1 day... i am currently looking into installing it onto my ext HD and running it from that... that may or may not work any help you guys have id love to hear... i love linux and all but compatibility issues are killing me EDIT: DISREGARD ALL THIS IM STAYING WITH LINUX

dude i dont think that there is really anything special u should be looking for... just get a U3 USB with a decent amount of space and if u want u could find that one that can take 200lbs of crushing force... lmao
