Basically, i'm building a home sever for a friend. intel i7 920 12gb ram 9tb and would like to run some kinda of bare metal solution on it. But because of my low budget I can't really afford a 3rd party RAID card, so does anybody know of any mobos that ESXi / Citrix XenServer supports in terms of storage controllers. I wouldn't be using RAID so that's not a concern if it's not supported. Just aslong as I can access the drives (SATA II) (note sorry if this is the wrong thread.)
