  1. Hi All, im just wandering if anyone has found or knows of a WAMP/LAMP Virtual box, all am after is a virtual box with a WAMP (http://www.wampserver.com/en/) like application, i just just install WAMP on my computer and point my NS server at everydns.net and then point the A records to my computer, however i currently have Trixbox in a virtual box on my computer which runs my phone system and i would kinda like to replicate that so i could have another virtual box running Apache, MySQL, PHP, but so that i can edit the apache config files etc. or could some one point me in the direction of an application that i can install in virtual box to do what i want. also on the same subject, i would like to have a very simple email server running in Virtual box on my computer, does any one have any ideas ? Many Thanks

  3. Hi All, i am looking for a Open source alternative to Citrix XennAPP. i love citrix, i realy do and have always tried to impliment it where ever i go becouse of the window manager that users get, and the fact i can install a item of software on the server and thru citrix give it to a user with out having to do the whole active directory download install on user log in etc... i have looked at Nomachine (FreeNX) however from a user point of view this would not work becouse they would have to type commands in to a terminal in order to get the program etc... so is there an alternative to citrix where a user has a window with all the applications availible to them and they click it and it opens/streams from the server... any suggestions here would be very welcome as the company i now work for does not have the £33K needed to impliment the Citrix solution i have suggested ... they do have a budget but its not £33K LOL.... Many Thanks Phil

  7. Hi all i have made my BartPE Boot CD and worked grate, i loved it.. but the computers we are buying now dont have CD drives or floppy drives, all they have is a USB 2.0 port. i need a way of booting the Bartpe from usb, or the same sort of program from another person or application. i have followed loads of guides from the net to boot from a USB stick and i always get the error File \i386\System32\ntoskrnl.exe could not be loaded. The error code is 4. Set up cannot continue. Press any key to exit. i have also followed a guide for PXE booting the BarpPE ISO and this gives the error NTDETECT Failed i have been looking in to this now for the last week and am at a loss.. the main useage of the usb stock will be Ghost and loading the network drivers, i downloaded the network drivers from the Ultimate boot CD and put them in to the BartPE and it picks up all the network cards in all the computers i have here which them enables me to clone computers... Please can any help me on this either providing a guide that works or an alternative program with all the features of BartPE which will boot from USB stock or PXE. PLEASE HELP ME!!!! Regards Phil
