  1. There are no additional charges.

Also I'm very surprised to hear how many people didn't get the initial email. I'll be mocking this scenario up again with a test product and a few accounts myself and see if I can't reproduce it. Thus far shopify has been pretty good to us in the email department.

I got the order confirmation email on 12/31/15 and then the shipped email this afternoon and that has been all I have seen with regard to the Tetra.

  2. The bottom of the configuration page for the mobile setup says to go to wifipineapple.com/modems for help and that in turn goes to wifipineapple.com/index.php?mobile but it is just the normal index page. Where is the help file for adding a modem to 3.0.0? I've seen github.com/WiFiPineapple/web-interface/wiki/mk4guide3gmodem but was wanting to see the list of 300 that are now supported to see if mine is one of them.

  3. The Belken F5U404PBLK doesn't appear to be a powered hub so there would not be a feedback issue. The only reason I wanted a powered hub was to help power a bigger USB drive, 8Gig, that works when using the power adapter on the pineapple but not when using my battery pack. I may give it a shot though...

Yes, it is powered and it is the one I use with no problems whatsoever.

  4. Hi. If I'm using a relay server that uses non-standard ssh port, how does it work. My server has ssh port on 45678. The standard autossh command, "autossh -M 20000 -N -R 4255:localhost:22 user@server.com -i /etc/dropbear/id_rsa" doesn't work. Before I changed the ssh port, it worked fine, but too many break-in attempt with port 22. I tried adding -o "Port 45678" to the command, but didn't work. Any tips?

    Use "autossh -M 20000 -f -N -R 4255:localhost:22 user@server.com -p 45678 -i /etc/dropbear/id_rsa"

  6. i have done a little digging and found out that i have a bad supperblock, now im trying to fix it and recover all my file then i will try a different drive? If anyone has any ideas of what keeps causing it please let me know. Of if you have found an easy fix for it.

Update: I was able to recover the files using "test-disk", will try to reformat it and have a backup ready.

Interesting as nothing, including test-disk, worked for me.

  7. Ok has anyone had this problem, My sandisk 4 gig randomly goes in to read only, this has happened with several san disk dongles and im tired of buying new ones is there a fix for it? when i bring it up i can see the sda1 sda2 partitions in dev when i try to read from them there is nothing there could it be a bad supperblock? I have tried changing the permissions on both partitions to no avail. If anyone has had this problem and has a fix for it let me know please.

I have had two 16gb sandisk cruzer fit's do the same thing. I had them replace the first one under warranty. I haven't tried to get the second one replaced under warranty yet as I really just don't trust these flash drives any longer. I had a spare 2gb lexar hanging around which is what I use now...

  8. I find if i use too many memory intensive programs at once, and the free memory drops below 1k, it will crash on me. Mainly happens with the Jammer module, when there is more than 6ish networks. Also, it seems the pineapple doesn't use any of my swap :/ 100% free all the time, even with the swappiness set to 100.

Thanks for the reply. I am still trying to isolate the cause.

  9. Was it well ventilated, or did you have it hidden somwhere it coud not breathe? Was it Hot?

It was in a Maxpedition Jumbo VersiPack but it was not hot at all...I have used it in a closed Pelican case before and likewise it stayed cool in it also (and never randomly rebooted)

  10. were you using sslstrip? 3g? is there swap space on the usb?

Yeah, I had sslstrip and tcpdump both running...also had 4g going...usbstick is a 2gb with ~600mb for swap (got tired of trying 16gb cruzer fit's as they all eventually went into read-only mode and i had the 2gb laying around doing nothing...it has been working fine for quite awhile now) Whenever I would look it was not using a ton of the swap space...

  11. I have 2 MKIV's, both running 2.3.1 firmware. I've only setup 1 cruzer for swap when I got the first pineapple. Anyway, I just attempted to use the cruzer on the 2nd pineapple and it wouldn't boot. Just flashing WPS button. So I unplugged the first pineapple, put in the cruzer and rebooted, and now IT is has a flashing WPS button.

I can take it out, reboot, and everything is fine, but is that right? Why can't I use the same usb drive on 2 diff pineapples? And why, oh why, does it not work on the pineapple I originally set it up for?

Last but not least, I am having issues getting gparted to see the cruzer. I thought I'd re-format the thing and try over. Any ideas? I am such a noob =(

Check and see if you can actually write to the cruzer...I have had 2 16gb cruzer fit's go belly up for no apparent reason.
