Well aren't you a bag of sunshine. Also, I've already skimmed through this. I guess it has to do with what the router operates on and replacing it.

Lets pretend i don't know anything about this program/programs.... What do they do? Also, will they help turn my router into a WLAN repeater?

Good evening, my name is Rick and I'm quiet bored with my internet ( even if it is free ;P ). I'm wondering if it would be possible to turn my old linksys router into a WLAN repeater. This would be a real project for me since I'm still a "noob" hacker. Thoughts, questions, concerns, and suggestions are welcome and praised! Have a good one.

This sort of reminds me of the USB storage drive, Ironkey. It has a security system that you might want to look into. Password protected, anti-bruteforce attack, anti-dictionary attack, ect. It also prevents someone from getting on your device with a self-destruct mechanism. After about 10 login fails it wipes the drive clean of any and all files. Maybe you could find a similar program on the internet somewhere. Get to searchin'!
