[i was noticing i had to wait for the CD-ROm to read the files cuz then it would stop and wouldnt do anything at all)
:cry: it appears my crappy laptop (ACER 3000 series) CD-ROM drive got fucked up for real... how can i install Ubuntu (latest) or WindowsXP on it thru LAN? or i should just take my Sansa(120m) USB MP3 player and make it bootable?
I really need a hand on this... allready re-downloaded re-checked MD5 checksums for the ubuntu install then tried a liveCD... its all good ... the problem appears to be the CD-ROM.

Okay here is the problem i got my lap top and i need 2 different profiles, one for when i take my laptop to the campus and another one when i bring my laptop to my house... so all the time i gotta keep changing the damn TCPIP options so i can connect to the internet
Start> connect to > show all connections >
[network connections]
right click the connection and hit properties...
on the dialog select TCPIP then click on the properties button.
192.168.0.xxx for the LAN
200.88.xxx.xxx for the ADSL
every single box on that image must be filled out with numbers for the internet profile and only 3 boxes filled for the lan profile... is there any way you can do this via batch files ?[/img]

cool... but this is hak.5, and the audience that watches this episodes isnt the same that watches BSoD (even if a phew do watch it...) doesnt mean that everyone is aware of the existence of this or they could just think its something SUPER-ELITE when its really simple... cause if it comes to that moding cases making your own arcadeVNC's...etc is all old news GOOD news but old but that doesnt mean ppl shouldnt be informed about this (Since we like it soo much, and find it usefull)
And no my friends, its not spam cause in no way shape or form im giving away the dvd i made... for it to be spam there should of been a link (direct or indirect) to download it 8)
PS: Soo much fuzz between the different distros even under the same branch lets take KNOPPIX-std for example... If you find it soo cool that some dude took knoppix live cd and took out all the appz that he would normally never use and replaced it with those that he did use...
isnt this the same concept? custumizing it the way you want it

8) If im making a sugjestion i would supposed that i would have to give as much information as possible to make sure it catches your attention and that you like the idea in other words its no spam...

Okay i know what it is and im sure most of you will ... but have you really used it? i mean each time you re-install windows do you still have to go and install those tools you use allmost every day??? isnt that stupid... since its soo tedius.
Basically ive made my own AIODVD and god it has saved my live millions of times, with its custum made boot screen that includes ERD commander + Wdows xP-SP2_PRO and it automatically installs all the tools i use for wardriving and hacking... the dvd olso has its own autorun wich after install it features a list of all the app that after installation and according my needs it could download and update for me....
In other words i put the DVD in the computer and come back 15-30 minutes later on with fully working OS custum made with all i need.
It isnt ilegal as far as i know since you are using the toolscds you allready have to make this... It would be nice to make a little mention of this tools in your show to let the comunity know there is another way to install windows that doesnt involve having to manually do it all...
