hehe... its actually funny its been a while since ive seen someone brag about a deface... hehe little he knows, bragging = #1 reason you get caught while your doing something wrong. And is safe to presume hes asking to hack websites that do not belong to him. Another assumption could be that he did a google search and copypasted someones old-defaced website.

I'm fairly certain you can only run x86 operating systems in VMware Workstation. Ermmm nope... there is a patched OSX DvD out there that you could run under vm ware... its the same one you use to install it to your x86 pc. And ofcourse you can run any distro of linux...

with enought ram and a new partition you can install any OS under VM workstation... If its larger than 650MB you will need an CDROM emulator like daemon tools

cheap solution: - use your bios... if its a good one you should have an option that allows you to choose if a HD is going to be even available to the system or not. SOHO motherboards as well as others have this opt. - If your Bios doesnt have this option simply check for an upgrade Expensive solution - Google the net... look for a cheap motherboard with a bios similar to that and ebay-it Atleast this is what i used to do a year ago when i had the same problem and it worked fine... then i realised it was unecesary.

basically all i said that regular command prompt is boring and no matter how much you change colorsfonts ..etc it will still suck. And i posted some links with some replacements to give you a better feel.. but i got flamed (or atleast they tried)... so i simply edited the post... if you would like to change your cmd looks google it.

:? ummm... ill try ERD then install m15ide.exe... right now i just finished burning (4x) a slipstreamed version of winXP with (DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_6031) wich is supposed to be a huge package with all (quote: "95% of all the drivers") for RAID, SCSI, SATA.... its given a phew erros so far ... but when i pressed F6 during install it showed an optional driver to install "something PC generic i486" i tried to do a search on that and found nothing... So my final option is to HOPE this doesnt fail so miserably (PS: tryed to install 3 dif linux distros and they failed mounting the image) ... Wish me luck... ill edit this post with a final "hurray" or "RIP" msg. OOOHH i swear if this laptop comes back to life im gonna mod it soo bad :twisted: Conclusion DEAD laptop

Okay so some googleling... downlaoded ERD and now its asking for SATARAIDSCSI Drivers... wich im guessing is the root of the problem on why i cant install windows XP... since its failing to load that... how can i figure out wich onetype i need? HTS421260H9AT00 = HDD MODEL NAME HKA210AJGAJL2B = HDD SERIAL NUMBER :( this is crazy... it shouldnt be this hard to get the damn laptop back to life

nope... i dont see that "USB legacy support" option anywhere on the bios... im gonna try (Winternals Admin Pack Pro 2006) voila !!! i think the CD-ROM drive should give me enought time to start a the PE and set up the network thingie... im downloading as we speak ^^

seams i cant go thruw the "Make a bootable USB drive" since i will need in the bios an option that sasys "BOOT FROM USB DEVICE" and i havent seen that option by default ... or do i need to make the bootable usb before this option appears? :roll:

well after some reasearch and some chaotic chats inside some servers i found out that google and hak5 forum are my best options... I found out this link (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Installation/WindowsServerNetboot) but... i think i need a floppy drive wich i dont :( So im guessing ill have to fuck up my sansa USB mp3player and give it a shot (try booting up from it)... ill vacum clan the CDROM [its a laptop remember]... ill be doing some research on how to make a bootable USB out of my sansa mp3 player but if anyone can help me out asap you can do so via msn (temperseed@hot...) 8) I really appreciate all your help... and thx for submiting all those good ideas =)

[i was noticing i had to wait for the CD-ROm to read the files cuz then it would stop and wouldnt do anything at all) :cry: it appears my crappy laptop (ACER 3000 series) CD-ROM drive got fucked up for real... how can i install Ubuntu (latest) or WindowsXP on it thru LAN? or i should just take my Sansa(120m) USB MP3 player and make it bootable? I really need a hand on this... allready re-downloaded re-checked MD5 checksums for the ubuntu install then tried a liveCD... its all good ... the problem appears to be the CD-ROM.

as seen on T.V ... mmm i mean the show hehe kewl mod man !
