It stiil drop when there two user's on. Also. my Wlan flashing, even when there no user's on. I've set up mac adderss filtering, hidden SSid etc. But even with this the unit still getting MSDUs. sent to it. Is someone on my box ? or trying to DOS it. ? I used VM ware converter to image my laptop before a re-install It worked great. But I choose the non 2gb option. Now I want to burn it on to a DVD but the file file is over 5Gb. can you change them back to 2GB, Or am I having to use winrar let's say tp make 2GB. file. I'm trying to get it to run off dvd if poss.

Just took a look at my router. the nut hold the sma connector to the router body was loose. From what I know about said hardware. this nut is used as earth/sheild on the anntenna. ?

Update it only drop signal when two clients are connected via wireless.Two clients that are allowed on the network i.e my own gear. Due you think this maybe a sign of the wireless router breaking down.it's about 3-5 years old.

No I've bought any new gear in the last two months. no wireless no new hardware.

My router a D-likn G604T. I've had it around 2-3 years now. The wifi allways been fine, just that the last two month's it's been dropping. As for singal strength that's allway good-to very good, as I'm only a wall/ceiling away, of apporx 15ft.

Well still dropping for the two Pc's we have on the wifi side of our network. Will Kismet help ing finding out if anyhow doing a Dos attack. ...

This is the thing. I've used channel 1,6,11. it dropp on them all. but more on 11 TBH. not used 6 in a while.

Anyone feeling old like me, getting cramps' from PC abuse, i.e been on foe hours at a time. I get constant leg cramps if I don't move around, while using the old laptop. Or i'm i justgetting old.
