Willing to sell/trade some cisco equipment I came into possession of. I have 4 cisco 2501 routers and 1 cisco catalyst 1900 router that I am willing to sell or trade for. I am looking for really anything electronic you are willing to part with if it works and interests me (vague i know, its later sorry will repost if i think of anything). OR I am willing to sell these. The 2501 for 20bucks a pop or all for 60. and the catalyst for 60 as well. The 2501 on google shopping goes for 30 ish plus shipping so its a good buy. If you want practice or just need one of these, its a great offer. I also have some cisco 1601 routers I can throw in for free, each with a 4 or 8mb flash PC card. So recently I've been searching for more computer stuff. I found a site (not ebay or craigslist) that is great. GSAauctions.gov, I signed up and its been fun since. SO MUCH stuff for so cheap. Only problem is you gotta pick it up so your cant search all across the country. Lucky me, I found some computer equipment in my area and I bid. It went up to 330 bucks and I finally gave up. About a week later I saw another lot. I bid and as of today I just won. I paid 129 for: CPU's: All in all a good haul, sell off two desktop/monitor combos and I make profit. Theres always dumpster diving but not around here, nothing good So where do you get your stuff and what have you got cheap/free?

Just my 2 cents, people who aren't as into computers as us have it lucky i think. We can introduce them to OSX from windows, visa versa and to linux. They decide what they like and maybe theyll stick with linux and windows. They wont be like "OMFG this rocks! linux rules windows is teh sux04z!" no, if they accept what we've shown them, and be more adaptive like "hey this is cool, can i keep both linux and windows on one computer? cool! hey this program looks cool, and its free." sometimes I envy that and wonder why fanboys cant just be like that, yes there are opinions about each one, but there's opinions and then theres blatant fanboyism that should be responded with a quick and painful chemical castration
