ok this is probably a stupid thing to point out but did u partition ur usb??the reason i ask this coz i know some ppl just try to make the sprt boots in two different folders ( THIS IS POSSIBLE,but its better to use two different partitions) if u ddnt partition it then use bartpe to get an installation on the 1st partion and then ummmm lol i dunno how to put the linux on the second partion lol but im sure u knw. Im not a linux user so iwouldnt know, what i do know ud have to leave the 2nd partition raw so u can format it to linux standards.... Ok dude i think you should start off with a good av like kaspersky then you need to scan DUH delete all the virii, then go to gpedit and set things right, like whatever got changed such as task manager disabled or cmd disabled, u knw that ol chestnut.... REMOTELY ACCESS??? are u sure u usin the right wording here??remote access means to access the computer from another location on the network. I think you just got the wording wrong so ill just tell you a way to gain access to the computer that you at without need of administrative pravliges. 1) Keylogging (not really advised but its good) 2) using a boot cd such as hiren 3) using dreampackpl. (also requires you to use a cd to boot)

hi i was thinking of the stndard evnet viewr but like u said they can just use another browser so it renders that option useless. What exactly do you want? do you want a log or a real time scanner to see exactly whats going on?? I would advise a keylogger or something like that but then again all AV's see it as malicious content. Other then that you can always just download a third party app to monitor web activity, these apps usually log all sites visited and time spent on the site, youll find tons of them if you google something like web activity monitor. As for the netstat command on windows you can always use it then let it give a log in a text file then you copy the ip address and go to this one site that changes IP to host name
